Episode 1 - A Death in the Family

New Tricks is back but this time there are changes ahead for the UCOS team. One will leave and a new member will join.

  

Episode 2 - Old School Ties

When the body of young PE teacher Jason Bowe is discovered in woodlands adjoining a prestigious boarding school, UCOS are asked to investigate the case quickly and discreetly.

  

Episode 3 - Queen and Country

UCOS reinvestigate the suspected suicide of a young Foreign Office diplomat and the connection to the sensitive information held on her missing computer.

  

Episode 4 - The Girl Who Lived

The UCOS team's feathers are ruffled with the arrival of Steve McAndrew, a retired detective. Brought in to help reinvestigate one of his original cases, McAndrew's policing methods raise a few eyebrows.

  

Episode 5 - Body of Evidence

When the body of missing computer expert Martin Longthorn turns up in the morgue of a teaching hospital under a false name UCOS look into the case.

  

Episode 6 - Love Means Nothing in Tennis

Two years ago, 16-year-old tennis champion Alice Kemp fell to her death from the balcony of a penthouse apartment. Did Alice jump, or was she pushed? The UCOS team investigate.

  

Episode 7 - Dead Poets

UCOS investigate the murder of Sean Docherty, a talented young poet from Belfast whose burnt body was found in the scrapyard of a known gangster.

  

Episode 8 - Blue Flower

UCOS investigate the murder of Max Klein, an East German immigrant whose mysterious last words translated as "blue flower". As the team piece together Max's remarkable story, Pullman attempts to gain the trust of his estranged daughter Mia.

  

Episode 9 - Glasgow UCOS

Gerry and Steve travel to Glasgow, where a new UCOS section is being set up. While there, they agree to assist the investigation into the 1993 unsolved murder of James Soutar, the wealthy owner of a string of betting shops.

  

Episode 10 - See You Jimmy

An article published by Whitehall official Stephen Fisher on the death of Abigail Padua leads to an attempt to assassinate him. Strickland informs the team that Stephen needs their help to discover who the assassin is - before he ups his game. Brian, fearing the devil is in the detail, attempts to find out who is responsible in his own way. Meanwhile, Sandra begins to have doubts over the future of her position.
