Birthplace: Ryan, Oklahoma, United States
Trivia: Born Carlos Ray Norris, Chuck Norris served in Korea in the Army. While there, he studied karate and later became the World Middleweight Karate Champion. He was encouraged by one of his karate students, actor Steve McQueen, to go into acting. He debuted onscreen in the enormously popular Bruce Lee vehicle Enter the Dragon (1973); since the death of Lee he has been the screen's premier martial arts star. He has appeared primarily in militaristic movies in which he single-handedly kills many enemies. His breakthrough film was Missing in Action (1984), in which he played an ex-POW in search of American prisoners still held in Vietnam.

Noble Willingham (Actor) .. C.D. Parker
Born: August 31, 1931
Died: January 17, 2004
Birthplace: Mineola, Texas, United States
Trivia: Formerly a schoolteacher, Texas-born Noble Willingham has been essaying crusty character roles since 1969. Willingham's resumé includes a brace of location-filmed Peter Bogdanovich films, The Last Picture Show (1971) and Paper Moon (1973), and the role of Clay Stone in both of Billy Crystal's City Slickers comedies. Among his TV-movie credits is the part of President James Knox Polk in 1985's Dream West. A regular on several TV series (The Ann Jillian Show, Texas Wheelers, Cutter to Houston, AfterMASH, When the Whistle Blows), Willingham is best known to 1990s viewers as Mr. Binford (of Binford Tools) in Home Improvement and C. D. Parker in Walker, Texas Ranger. Noble Willingham's most recent film assignments include Ace Ventura, Pet Detective (1994) Up Close and Personal (1996) and Space Jam (1996). In 2000, Willingham left Walker, Texas Ranger to run for Congress in Texas. After losing the election to his Democratic opponent, Max Sandlin, Willingham returned to acting with a supporting role in the Val Kilmer thriller Blind Horizon. Prior to that, he worked steadily on stage, screen and television since the mid '70s. With his stocky build and big voice, the Texas native is noted for his portrayals of policemen, soldiers, and father figures. He received formal training in theater at Texas Tech, and, after spending two years in the Marines, Corbin returned home and began acting in regional theater. He later went to New York where he worked on and off Broadway. He moved to L.A. in 1977 where he began writing radio plays for National Public Radio. Born: October 11, 1969
Birthplace: Phoenix, Arizona, United States
Trivia: Professional rodeo cowboy Ty Murray racked up a series of awards and honors, beginning in the late '80s, that pushed him to the forefront of his chosen sport. A native of Phoenix, AZ, and the son of a rodeo hand father and bull-riding mother, Murray won his first rodeo in primary school, then aggressively began to save money breaking colts and parlayed his earnings into the purchase of a mechanical bull-riding machine. As a young adult, Murray quickly worked his way into two elite and exclusive rodeo organizations -- the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) and the Professional Cowboys Rodeo Association (PCRA) -- and made a series of historical firsts. In addition to checking in as the youngest millionaire rodeo star in history, he became the first individual since Larry Mahan to qualify for the NFR in all three rough-stock events, won seven All-Around World Championship titles, and qualified as the reserve PBR Bud Light Cup World Champion three years in a row. The passage of Murray's career witnessed him sustaining innumerable injuries, from which he smoothly recovered, seemingly without effort. He ultimately retired from professional rodeo competition and maintained his ranch in Stephenville, TX. In 2008, Murray married his girlfriend of 10 years, singer/songwriter Jewel. Later that year, it was announced that he would be appearing alongside his wife on the popular reality show Dancing with the Stars.
