Trivia: Born Carlos Ray Norris, Chuck Norris served in Korea in the Army. While there, he studied karate and later became the World Middleweight Karate Champion. He was encouraged by one of his karate students, actor Steve McQueen, to go into acting. He debuted onscreen in the enormously popular Bruce Lee vehicle Enter the Dragon (1973); since the death of Lee he has been the screen's premier martial arts star. He has appeared primarily in militaristic movies in which he single-handedly kills many enemies. His breakthrough film was Missing in Action (1984), in which he played an ex-POW in search of American prisoners still held in Vietnam.

Trivia: Formerly a schoolteacher, Texas-born Noble Willingham has been essaying crusty character roles since 1969. Willingham's resumé includes a brace of location-filmed Peter Bogdanovich films, The Last Picture Show (1971) and Paper Moon (1973), and the role of Clay Stone in both of Billy Crystal's City Slickers comedies. Among his TV-movie credits is the part of President James Knox Polk in 1985's Dream West. A regular on several TV series (The Ann Jillian Show, Texas Wheelers, Cutter to Houston, AfterMASH, When the Whistle Blows), Willingham is best known to 1990s viewers as Mr. Binford (of Binford Tools) in Home Improvement and C. D. Parker in Walker, Texas Ranger. Noble Willingham's most recent film assignments include Ace Ventura, Pet Detective (1994) Up Close and Personal (1996) and Space Jam (1996). In 2000, Willingham left Walker, Texas Ranger to run for Congress in Texas. After losing the election to his Democratic opponent, Max Sandlin, Willingham returned to acting with a supporting role in the Val Kilmer thriller Blind Horizon. Sadly, the part would be the actor's last. In early 2004, at the age of 72, Willingham passed away at home from natural causes.

Trivia: Received a scholarship to UCLA but dropped out after just one semester to pursue a career in entertainment. Before embarking on her Hollywood career she was a featured member of the renowned performance troupe the Young Americans. Released her debut dance-pop album, Nothin' But Trouble, in 1988. Hosted a short-lived late-night musical variety show, The Party Machine With Nia Peeples, which was executive produced by Arsenio Hall. Volunteers for the American Heart Association and in 2011 participated in the AHA's "Go Red for Women Stiletto Strut" in Glendale, CA.

Trivia: Towering American character actor Charles Napier has the distinction of being one of the few actors to transcend a career start in "nudies" and sustain a successful mainstream career. Napier, clothed and otherwise, was first seen in such Russ Meyer gropey-feeley epics as Cherry, Harry and Raquel (1969) and Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970). Graduating from this exuberant tawdriness, Napier became a dependable film and TV villain, playing nasty characters in films like Handle With Care (1977) and Rambo (1984). Napier would continue to become an ever more familiar face throughout the 80's and 90's, with roles in movies like The Blues Brothers (1980), Married to the Mob (1990), Ernest Goes to Jail (1991) and the-Oscar winning Silence of the Lambs (1991), Philadelphia (1994), The Cable Guy (1996), and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) - just to name a few. He would also remain active in the realm of TV, appearing on shows like Walker, Texas Ranger and Roswell. The new millennium would find Napier playing roles on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, as well as lending his voice to animated shows like The Simpsons, Squidbillies, and Archer. Napier passed away in October of 2011 at the age of 75.

Trivia: Born Randy Poffo in Sarasota, FL, professional wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage actually began his athletic life as a minor league baseball player on teams including the Cardinals and the White Sox, then moved into wrestling alongside his brother Larry. He spent successive years working his way up through the ranks of various wrestling federations; Larry and Randy occasionally worked as a tag team, but also went head-to-head against one another from time to time, and indeed, Randy's first two big breaks materialized in the form of an ICW Title victory against Larry and a defeat of Jerry Lawler in the ring, which granted Savage the title of Southern Heavyweight Champion.Savage attained greatest leverage, however, via his involvement in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the management of his late wife, "Miss" Elizabeth Hulette; in that venue, the wrestler racked up a series of defeats against opponents including Tito Santana, Lex Luger, Dusty Rhodes, Brutus Beefcake, and others. After netting the WWF heavyweight title, he eventually left for the WCW amid a contractual dispute and won the heavyweight bout there as well. In that venue, Savage was particularly successful in the creation of the nWo (or New World Order in professional wrestling). Savage's various WCW opponents included Sting, Diamond Dallas Page, Bret Hart, and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. One particularly memorable and colorful series of events involved Savage's ongoing battle-of-wills with Kevin Nash. Unlike fellow wrestler Hulk Hogan (with whom he often jostled), Savage kept his distance from Hollywood for many years, but by the mid- to late 2000s moved into acting roles. These included a performance as Bone Saw McGraw in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (2002), guest participation in the series Mad About You and Family Guy, and participation in season seven of VH1's reality series The Surreal Life, opposite Dabney Coleman, Carrot Top, and others. In 2008, Savage provided a voice for the family-friendly animated feature Bolt, alongside John Travolta, Miley Cyrus, and others. Savage died in a car accident in 2011.
