Andrew travels to Alaska's Copper River Basin in the sixth-season premiere, during which he meets a group of Native Americans who live the traditional life of the Ahtna tribe. While spending time with them, he experiences their everyday world of hunting, trapping and fishing. His trip also finds him trying moose and salmon oil, as well as spearing whitefish, shooting spruce chicken and digging up wild weeds known as tsaas.
