Almonte is where puppets come to life. Famous puppeteer Noreen Young founded the Puppets Up! International Puppet Festival, which brings thousands of people to downtown Mill Street each summer. Run by dedicated volunteers, the street comes alive with pipe bands, parades, and some of the most innovative puppetry from around the globe.
