Episode 1 - One Too Many Mornings 3:4-8

In the second season premiere, Tommy outmaneuvers a U.S. attorney as he and Eileen keep up the appearance of a happy marriage; Michael tries to reestablish his memory and his territory.

  

Episode 2 - Down In the Flood 3:5-6

As Tommy begins his reelection campaign, he turns to his sister, Mary-Kate, rather than Eileen for support; Colin Carr (Brian F. O'Byrne), Tommy and Michael's estranged Irish cousin whom Rose deeply distrusts, returns to Providence.

  

Episode 3 - The Lonesome Death Of ... 4:7-8

Colin helps Michael and Eileen cope with the unexpected death of a friend while Freddie tries to avoid a war with the Italians; Tommy helps smooth things over with the Speaker of the House's mistress.

  

Episode 4 - Not Dark Yet 3:5-6

Rose sows unrest between her sons, which leads Michael to throw a wrench into Tommy's big real estate deal; Freddie asks Declan to use his police badge to negotiate with the competition; Tommy and Dana see more of each other.

Tommy struggles to stay on track when he suddenly finds himself without his usual support network; Michael considers a lifestyle change, while Colin tries to find his father; Freddie asks Declan to find a missing associate.

Michael maneuvers for power as he and Kath prepare for an addition to the family; Tommy tries to clean up a bad neighborhood; Eileen gains perspective from the wives of other local politicians; Rose struggles with the reality of aging.

It's election day and the whole Caffee clan rises to Tommy's defense when his political enemies pull out the big guns to block his reelection; Nozzoli asks Michael to drive an out-of-town contractor to a job; Colin escorts Kath to a clinic.

  

Episode 8 - Shelter from the Storm 1:1-2

Tommy and Colin try to cope with Judd's decline; Declan tries to clear his conscience as Michael feeds Franklin information to keep Freddie in jail; Eileen volunteers to help Mary Kate at the Social Services office.

  

Episode 9 - Call Letter Blues 1:2-6

Rose walks out on her family Thanksgiving morning, leaving the younger generations to pull the holiday together on their own; Freddie and Marty Trio are allowed a holiday furlough in exchange for information.

  

Episode 10 - Things Have Changed 1:7-8

In the second season finale, Freddie asks Nozzoli to kill Michael; Franklin investigates the outcome of the holiday furlough; Tommy makes a bid for the Speaker's chair; the death of a loved one brings Colin and Rose closer; Eileen finally puts her foot down about Dana.
