Episode 1 - The Nun

After meeting Judge Harry Stone (HARRY ANDERSON), a nun (DINAH MANOFF) decides to leave the sisterhood to pursue a love affair with life . . . and Harry.

  

Episode 2 - Daddy for the Defense

A new female defense attorney (MARKIE POST) tries her first case in front of Judge Harry Stone (HARRY ANDERSON) and soon finds her father (EUGENE ROCHE), a spectator in the courtroom, cited and jailed for contempt of court.

  

Episode 3 - Billie and the Cat

After Billie (ELLEN FOLEY), the new defense attorney, goes to jail to protect her client's principles, the client sells out for $50,000.

  

Episode 4 - Pick a Number

Judge Harry Stone (HARRY ANDERSON) is handed a lottery ticket worth three million dollars and is expected to find a worthy recipient. When word leaks out, his courtroom becomes inundated with liars and cheats, all vying for the money.

When a 12-year-old computer genius (CHRISTIAN BRACKETT-ZIKA) brought before Judge Harry Stone (HARRY ANDERSON) holds his school system's computer records hostage to show his contempt, Harry discovers the boy is a lonely soul who has never learned the basics of being a child.

When Bull (RICHARD MOLL) becomes a Volunteer Father to a 13-year-old boy (PAMELA SEGALL), he is in for a real surprise! He discovers the boy is a girl.

When an exclusive house of prostitution gets busted, Judge Harry Stone (HARRY ANDERSON) must decide whether to admit the madam's (STELLA STEVENS) private diary as evidence in the case against her.

  

Episode 9 - Inside Harry Stone

After illness causes Judge Harry Stone (HARRY ANDERSON) to faint while in the courtroom, he is rushed to the hospital where he must undergo tests. Emotion overtakes Harry's logic and he refuses. Is there anyone who can persuade Harry to have the tests?

  

Episode 10 - The Blizzard

When a crippling blizzard strands everyone inside the court building, Dan (JOHN LARROQUETTE) gets stuck in the elevator with a gay man (JACK RILEY) who previously made a pass at him; Bull (RICHARD MOLL) becomes a hero; and Mac (CHARLES ROBINSON) can only wonder about the behavior of a strange man (DENNIS BURKLEY) ready to resort to cannibalism if he gets too hungry.

When all else fails, court clerk Mac Robinson (CHARLES ROBINSON) marries a young Vietnamese woman (DENICE KUMAGAI) to save her from deportation.

  

Episode 12 - The Birthday Visitor

When Harry (HARRY ANDERSON) is invited to Billie's (ELLEN FOLEY) apartment for a birthday drink, what could have been a romantic evening turns into a frightening experience as the two are accosted by a gun-toting burglar who can't do anything right.

  

Episode 13 - Dan's Parents

Dan (JOHN LARROQUETTE) learns a valuable lesson when his small-town, country-hick parents (JOHN McINTIRE and JEANETTE NOLAN) come to visit.

  

Episode 14 - Nuts About Harry

When four mental patients, including a young mute woman (KATE ZENTALL), escape from their psychiatrist's care after appearing in court, Judge Harry Stone (HARRY ANDERSON) comes to the rescue.

  

Episode 15 - An Old Flame

Selma's (SELMA DIAMOND) long ago lover returns and asks her to live with him in Florida. Meanwhile, after doing a terrific job, Harry's temporary replacement, Judge Kopelson (PHIL LEEDS), turns out to be a clerk who, just once, wanted to dispense justice.

When a gypsy (ERICA YOHN) puts a curse on everyone in the courtroom, Bull (RICHARD MOLL) becomes paralyzed and Dan (JOHN LARROQUETTE), in the middle of a tax audit, finds himself flat broke.

Judge Harry Stone's (HARRY ANDERSON) court turns into an international tribunal when a Russian émigré YAKOV SMIRNOFF) and his visiting brother (JOHN LYKES), who wishes to defect, appear as defendants charged with creating a disturbance during a U.S. performance by the Leningrad Circus.

  

Episode 22 - Walk, Don't Wheel

When Harry (HARRY ANDERSON) turns down a date with a young female paraplegic (BARBARA C. ASIDE), she feels she's rejected because of her handicap and not because Harry has a prior commitment; meanwhile, the unwavering cheerfulness of an out-of-town family who've been stranded is driving the night court crew crazy.
