While his courtroom associates are doing all they can to cover for him, a distraught Harry (Harry Anderson), unaware he has his job back, puts the finishing touches on his plan to pull a maniacal prank against the City of New York.

As an army reserve officer, Dan Fielding (John Larroquette) is given an overseas assignment. Fearing he's being sent to a war zone, Dan does all he can to get out of it; meanwhile, Christine (Markie Post) must contend with Dan's replacement, a female D.A., who is worse than Dan.
