Episode 1 - Season 1, Episode 1: Our Cup Runneth Over

The Rose family lives are forever changed when the government comes to collect years of back taxes. Left with almost nothing, they must move to Johnny’s last remaining asset, Schitt’s Creek. When Johnny offends the town’s Mayor, Roland Schitt, the Rose family soon discovers that the doors to their motel rooms have been taken. It’s now up to Johnny to set things right, in hopes that his family can sleep safely on their first night in their new home.

  

Episode 1 - Our Cup Runneth Over

Episode 2 - Season 1, Episode 2: The Drip

He needs to get Roland’s approval before he can put the town on the market. Meanwhile, the Rose children check out the local nightlife by attending a tailgate party. Alexis uses the opportunity to scope for a new boyfriend, while David gets to know Stevie, the girl that runs the motel.

  

Episode 2 - The Drip

Episode 3 - Season 1, Episode 3: Don't Worry, It's His Sister

Johnny is shocked to see the pornographic-looking town sign and plans to get it taken down. When he talks to the Town Council about it, he finds out that the sign is very important to Roland for family reasons. Meanwhile, David is faced with the near impossible task of finding a job while Alexis starts her community service and is paired with Mutt, the guy she made out with the night before.

  

Episode 4 - Bad Parents

Johnny and Moira come to a shocking realization that they might be terrible parents. They attempt to get to know their twenty-something children but David and Alexis avoid their parent’s intrusive interest, with David trying to sell some of his clothes for extra cash and Alexis investigating Mutt’s mysterious relationship with the Mayor’s wife. In the end, Johnny and Moira speak with Roland and his wife Jocelyn about parenting and realize that all parents have issues with their children.

  

Episode 4 - Season 1, Episode 4: Bad Parents

Johnny and Moira come to a shocking realization that they might be terrible parents. They attempt to get to know their twenty-something children but David and Alexis avoid their parent’s intrusive interest, with David trying to sell some of his clothes for extra cash and Alexis investigating Mutt’s mysterious relationship with the Mayor’s wife. In the end, Johnny and Moira speak with Roland and his wife Jocelyn about parenting and realize that all parents have issues with their children.

  

Episode 5 - The Cabin

Finding it impossible to have any privacy at their tiny motel home, Johnny and Moira take up Roland’s offer to go to his cabin to rekindle their romance. With her parents out of the motel, Alexis hopes to use the opportunity to throw a party. Using her brother to invite some locals over for a games night, Alexis tries to turn the event into an all out rager. The night falls apart when the Rose siblings begin to do what they do best - fight with each other.

  

Episode 5 - Season 1, Episode 5: The Cabin

Meanwhile, David is suffering from a mysterious illness and must visit the only doctor in town, the local vet, for help. Alexis finds that her feelings for Mutt are becoming uncomfortably strong.

  

Episode 6 - Season 1, Episode 6: Wine and Roses

Moira is offered her first acting role in years as the spokesperson for a local fruit wine company. Hurt that he’s not involved, Johnny tries to take over the shoot and Moira eventually asks him to leave. Meanwhile, David is suffering from a mysterious illness and must visit the only doctor in town, the local vet, for help. Alexis finds that her feelings for Mutt are becoming uncomfortably strong.

  

Episode 7 - Season 1, Episode 7: Turkey Shoot

David agrees to go on a turkey hunt with Stevie and some local Creekers to show off his manliness. David must somehow manage to prove himself despite his lack of courage, strength, and ability. Meanwhile, Moira’s stress level is through the roof so Jocelyn takes her to a so-called spa in Elmdale. Things go badly when she ends up coming out looking just like Jocelyn. Alexis starts a relationship with the only normal man in Schitt’s Creek, a young veterinarian named Ted.

  

Episode 7 - Turkey Shoot

David agrees to go on a turkey hunt with Stevie and some local Creekers to show off his manliness. David must somehow manage to prove himself despite his lack of courage, strength, and ability. Meanwhile, Moira’s stress level is through the roof so Jocelyn takes her to a so-called spa in Elmdale. Things go badly when she ends up coming out looking just like Jocelyn. Alexis starts a relationship with the only normal man in Schitt’s Creek, a young veterinarian named Ted.

  

Episode 8 - Season 1, Episode 8: Allez-Vous

Moira receives a gift from an old friend and it turns out to be a cosmetics kit to sell around town. Episode 11 - Season 1, Episode 11: Little Sister

Meanwhile, Alexis meddles in Mutt’s relationship with the local café girl, Twyla by giving her some unsolicited advice. Johnny has finally found a way out of Schitt’s Creek and his name is Andy, a businessman who plans on buying the town. All that Johnny needs now is Andy’s signature and Roland to sign off on the deal. Meanwhile, Alexis finds herself in an even more complicated situation when Ted proposes and she finally reveals her true feelings to Mutt. Meanwhile David, feeling abandoned by his family and best friend, suddenly leaves town.

  

Episode 13 - Season 1, Episode 13: Town for Sale

Johnny has finally found a way out of Schitt’s Creek and his name is Andy, a businessman who plans on buying the town. All that Johnny needs now is Andy’s signature and Roland to sign off on the deal. Meanwhile, Alexis finds herself in an even more complicated situation when Ted proposes and she finally reveals her true feelings to Mutt. Meanwhile David, feeling abandoned by his family and best friend, suddenly leaves town.

  

Episode 14 - Season 2, Episode 1: Finding David

The Roses search for their missing son, David, while Alexis takes her relationship with Mutt to the next level despite technically being engaged to Ted.

  

Episode 15 - Season 2, Episode 2: Family Dinner

Moira decides to cook dinner with the help of David. Johnny scopes out an office for his consulting business. And Alexis finally comes clean with Ted about their engagement.

  

Episode 16 - Season 2, Episode 3: Jazzagals

Moira attempts to join the town's a cappella group. Alexis enjoys the heady first days of her latest relationship. And Johnny helps out at Bob's Garage despite himself.

Johnny and Moira go to an estate sale. Mutt surprises Alexis with a bike, while Roland asks David to help him shop for a special item.

  

Episode 18 - Season 2, Episode 5: Bob's Bagels

Johnny talks himself into an unlikely business partnership with Bob. David gets an interview at a woman's clothing store while Moira reluctantly cares for an ailing Alexis.

  

Episode 19 - Season 2, Episode 6: Moira vs. Town Council

Moira attempts to beautify the town. David misuses the company credit card and Alexis and Mutt question their relationship after a personal grooming misstep.

  

Episode 20 - Season 2, Episode 7: The Candidate

Johnny contemplates running for Town Council. David and Stevie look for love in all the wrong places while Alexis comes to terms with single life.

  

Episode 21 - Season 2, Episode 8: Milk Money

Alexis accidentally gets Johnny into the raw milk business. Moira tries to connect with the townsfolk and David gives style advice to the competition without fully considering the consequences.

Moira worries that salacious photos from her past will jeopardize the campaign. Johnny swallows his pride to ask for financial help. Alexis becomes gainfully and surprisingly employed.

Johnny Moira go out for their anniversary and run into a couple they knew from their former life, while Alexis and David attend Mutt's annual barn party, making up with some friends, and making out with others.

  

Episode 27 - Season 3, Episode 1: Opening Night

Johnny struggles to get a new business venture off the ground while dealing with unwelcome competition at Bob's Garage. Moira makes a splash at her first Town Council meeting, but quickly encounters roadblocks from the other councilors. Meanwhile, David and Stevie are shocked to learn that their romantic lives are intersecting; and Alexis receives a generous offer with Mutt, but has to deal with Mutt's new girlfriend.

  

Episode 28 - Season 3, Episode 2: The Throuple

Johnny offers to help out an injured Twyla by waiting tables at the cafe, but soon gets in over his head. Alexis and Moira make a plan to have lunch, despite the fact that they're both anxious about spending time alone together. David and Stevie try to figure out the boundaries of their three-way relationship with Jake.

  

Episode 29 - Season 3, Episode 3: New Car

Johnny decides to buy a new car, and he and Moira craft an increasingly elaborate ruse to avoid getting gouged by the dealership. David accompanies Stevie as she says goodbye to her great-aunt and confronts her own mortality in the process. Alexis and Ted negotiate the rules of their professional relationship when Ted receives a gift from a female client.

  

Episode 30 - Season 3, Episode 4: Driving Test

As the new owner of the motel, Stevie is in over her head, and Johnny and Moira employ different strategies to discourage Stevie from selling. Meanwhile, Alexis drives a stressed-out David to his driving test, and Alexis finds herself in the unusual position of coaching her older brother.

  

Episode 31 - Season 3, Episode 5: Rooms by the Hour

Johnny rents rooms to a morally shady enterprise, while David helps Moira tape a film audition.

  

Episode 32 - Season 3, Episode 6: Murder Mystery

Johnny and Stevie visit a nearby golf course to pitch a package deal with the motel, but Johnny becomes distracted by his desire to play a round of golf. After agreeing to attend Twyla's murder mystery party, Moira must help her recruit other guests. Alexis entertains a suggestion from Ted to go back to school.

  

Episode 33 - Season 3, Episode 7: General Store

When David contemplates starting a new business in town, Moira uses her seat on town council to protect her son's interests. Alexis discovers high school isn't as easy as it used to be. Johnny reluctantly helps Ivan, the hapless baker, with romantic advice in return for muffins for the motel's continental breakfast.

  

Episode 34 - Season 3, Episode 8: Motel Review

David gets flustered when Ray's assistant Patrick tries to help him set up his business. Johnny is called before Alexis's teacher, but has trouble mounting a defense against the academic charges. Moira's hospitality skills are put to the test when she's forced to deal with a high-maintenance motel guest.

  

Episode 35 - Season 3, Episode 9: The Affair

Roland and Moira attend a conference of regional town councilors in Elmdale, and score a major coup for Schitt's Creek. However, the ensuing celebration leads to an awkward encounter the following morning. Meanwhile, Johnny and Jocelyn become concerned that their spouses are keeping secrets from them. As David and Patrick prepare the store for opening, David becomes jealous of Alexis's flirting with Patrick.

  

Episode 36 - Season 3, Episode 10: Sebastien Raine

David's photographer ex-boyfriend arrives in town to do a photo series on Moira, but Moira soon realizes his intentions might be less than complimentary. Meanwhile, David confronts the failure of his and Simon's relationship. Johnny and Roland attend Bob's poker night, and attempt to turn the tables on Bob and Gwen after realizing they might be conspiring to cheat. Alexis accompanies Ted to a seniors' dance and begins to reevaluate her relationship with him.

  

Episode 37 - Season 3, Episode 11: Stop Saying Lice!

Moira is wary after the town council decides to name a questionable flower garden after her. Meanwhile, Johnny must do damage control after Alexis spreads head lice throughout the motel. In an effort to flee the lice epidemic, David schemes his way into spending the night at Stevie's apartment.

  

Episode 38 - Season 3, Episode 12: Friends & Family

Moira tracks down the Roses' gigantic family portrait as a gift for Johnny, but the family struggles to find a place to put it. David organizes a "soft launch" of his new store, but becomes concerned after word begins to spread and the guest list gets out of hand. Alexis and Ted become awkward around each other after sharing a friendly kiss.

  

Episode 39 - Season 3, Episode 13: Grad Night

Moira tracks down the Roses' gigantic family portrait as a gift for Johnny, but the family struggles to find a place to put it. Episode 40 - Season 4, Episode 1: Dead Guy in Room 4

Moira believes she is the cause of a man's death at the motel and fears the legal repercussions. Johnny and Stevie attempt to keep the motel guests distracted while they deal with the removal of the dead body. Alexis helps Ted interview candidates for the vet clinic and uses some unconventional interview techniques. At the store, Patrick and David test the waters of their new relationship.

  

Episode 41 - Season 4, Episode 2: Pregnancy Test

After Johnny finds a positive pregnancy test in Alexis's garbage, Johnny and Moira consider the potential implications of an expected pregnancy, but when Johnny tries to broach the subject with Alexis, she is distracted with her college enrollment application. David and Patrick desperately search for a place to hook up, and are forced to consider Stevie's offer of a private space.

  

Episode 42 - Season 4, Episode 3: Asbestos Fest

Moira prepares for her one-woman show "One Crazy Summer: the Patty Hearst Story," at the annual Schitt's Creek Asbestos Fest, but with its intricate, complex dance routine, Moira worries she won't be able to pull it off. Meanwhile, David basks in the constant flattery from a group of teens who hang around the store, but is livid when Alexis points out it might be a big charade. Johnny looks to hire new help for the motel and Roland claims to have the perfect man for the job.

  

Episode 43 - Season 4, Episode 4: Girls' Night

Moira chauffeurs Alexis and Twyla on their girls' night out at a bar, doling out unsolicited romantic advice. At the motel, Roland builds a "man cave" in the office instead of doing actual work, forcing Johnny to reconsider Roland's employment. With Stevie's help, Patrick rearranges some products in the store to illustrate David's inability to compromise, and David tries his best to conciliate.

  

Episode 44 - Season 4, Episode 5: RIP Moira Rose

Moira is horrified to learn there's a rumor of her death circulating online, but when she reads the heartfelt condolences from her former Hollywood co-stars, she starts to relish it.Meanwhile, Roland asks Johnny to be the godfather to Roland and Jocelyn's child, leading Johnny to search for ways to politely decline. David and Alexis go on a buying trip to a local farm, and Alex soon realizes that she has a connection to the farmer, which puts her in an awkward position.

  

Episode 45 - Season 4, Episode 6: Open Mic

David and Patrick throw an open mic night to help promote Rose Apothecary, but when Patrick announces he'll be singing solo with his acoustic guitar, David gets cold feet. Johnny and Alexis begin re-branding the motel, but Stevie is apprehensive, fearing that they're expanding too quickly. Moira accidentally finds out the gender of the Schitt's baby, and tries desperately to keep the secret.

  

Episode 46 - Season 4, Episode 7: The Barbecue

Johnny and Moira throw a family barbecue with the intention of getting to know Patrick a little better, as they believe this to be the longest relationship David has ever had. But David is worried about inflicting his family upon Patrick and tries to keep them apart. Meanwhile, Alexis receives a mysterious text from Ted and, with the help of a new friend, decides to investigate.

  

Episode 47 - Season 4, Episode 8: The Jazzaguy

After the barbecue fiasco, Stevie takes David to a spa for some much-needed wallowing. Unfortunately, she has chosen a honeymoon package, which just rubs salt in the wound. Johnny steps in at a Jazzagals rehearsal and wows everyone with his skills, but Moira is not fully on board with her husband's new involvement in her social life. Alexis tests out a dating app and goes on a date with a cute local.

  

Episode 48 - Season 4, Episode 9: The Olive Branch

David finally returns to work, hoping to get back together with Patrick, but learns he may have left things too late. Moira discourages Alexis from pitching a singles night event at Town Hall, then accidentally finds herself pitching the idea as her own. Johnny buys Stevie a thank-you gift for all of Stevie's hard work at the motel, but Stevie takes it the wrong way.

  

Episode 49 - Season 4, Episode 10: Baby Sprinkle

Alexis runs into her old friend, Klair, who offers her an intriguing job opportunity, leading Alexis to take stock of her current situation. Johnny and Moira attend a lock and key singles event solely to observe, but the matchmaker encourages them to join in. David accepts Jocelyn's desperate plea to plan her baby shower, but Jocelyn is soon questioning whether David is more help or harm.

  

Episode 50 - Season 4, Episode 11: The Rollout

Moira is summoned for jury duty, so she prepares her excuses for a dismissal, but when she finds out the nature of the case, her interest is piqued. Johnny blames David's Rose Apothecary products for a rash outbreak at the motel, so David has to quickly recall the product before it spreads to all of his clients. Alexis runs into Mutt, and opens up to him about her feelings for Ted.

  

Episode 51 - Season 4, Episode 12: Singles Week

Patrick tells David he loves him out-of-the-blue, leaving David flustered and unsure of how to respond. Alexis and Moira are about to kick off Singles Week when Jocelyn goes into labor, so Moira reluctantly leaves Alexis in charge. Johnny finally gets Roland to take on more responsibility at the motel, but in doing so realizes he may have inadvertently caused Roland to miss the birth of his child.

  

Episode 52 - Season 4, Episode 13: Merry Christmas, Johnny Rose

Johnny wants to celebrate the holidays with an old-fashioned Rose Family Christmas Party, but it's going to take a lot to get everyone on board at the last minute. Moira brings a negative attitude to Christmas tree shopping, Alexis is already double-booked with another party, and David puts minimal effort into helping with decorations. But the Roses soon realize that the party means more to Johnny than any of them thought.

  

Episode 53 - Season 5, Episode 1: The Crowening

Moira prepares for the performance of a lifetime while shooting the Crows film in Bosnia, but fears the disillusioned director will ruin her chance at career revival. With Moira away and plenty of free time, Johnny digs into work around the motel, and can't seem to slow down. David takes a quiz that suggests he and Patrick are falling into a boring routine, so Alexis encourages David to reinvigorate their relationship by joining her and Ted on an outdoor adventure.

  

Episode 54 - Season 5, Episode 2: Love Letters

A sleep-deprived Moira finds a stack of old love letters addressed to Johnny from another woman, and for the first time ever, questions Johnny's loyalty. When a burglar holds up Rose Apothecary, demanding cash, David and Stevie bend over backwards to placate the criminal. Meanwhile, Alexis goes to great lengths to retrieve a heart-shaped locket Ted gave her years ago.

Johnny becomes overly involved in Alexis’s romantic life, making an already difficult time worse for Alexis. After discovering her car covered in eggs, Moira learns she offended the townspeople by disparaging Schitt’s Creek in an interview with People magazine. Jocelyn helps out David and Patrick at the store, and much to David’s annoyance, she’s a top-notch salesperson.

  

Episode 76 - Season 6, Episode 10: Sunrise, Sunset

Moira’s former “Sunrise Bay” producers (Guest stars Victor Garber and Saul Rubinek) show up with big news, while Alexis binge-watches old episodes of the soap and discovers some dirt. Alexis gives Moira advice on how to proceed, leaving Moira feeling conflicted. Meanwhile, the new motel is proving to be a money pit for Johnny and he’s worried about paying for David’s undoubtedly lavish catering bill for the wedding.

  

Episode 77 - Season 6, Episode 11: The Bachelor Party

The Roses aren’t thrilled to be roped into the Escape Room portion of David and Patrick’s bachelor party, but they put on a brave face. However, their participation wanes as their personal dilemmas come to a head; Johnny anxiously awaits an important business call, Alexis questions her future, and Moira second-guesses her decision about the reboot.

  

Episode 78 - Season 6, Episode 12: The Pitch

Johnny, Stevie and Roland head to New York for their pitch meeting, nervous but excited. Moira anxiously awaits their return, becoming more distressed as the day goes on, knowing this is her last chance at escape. Alexis and David get ahead of themselves and contemplate living in New York.

Moira receives some unexpected news and David makes a tough decision about where he wants to live.
