Episode 1 - Ashes and SnowIn Minneapolis, just days before Christmas, Sgt. Rick Zimmerman and Sgt. Tammy Diedrich are called to the murder of a young woman, found strangled in a partially burned car. As they fight against the clock and a snowstorm, the team soon realizes that the killer may be closer than they think.

Episode 2 - Deal Breaker / GunplayIn Memphis, Sgt. Bart Ragland must find out who shot and robbed a family man. In Tucson, Detective Bill Hanson hunts two suspects who allegedly gunned down a local high school student as he and his friends walked home from the mall.

Episode 3 - Frenzy / Hard TruthIn Miami, Sgt. Louis Melancon and Det. Carlos Castellanos investigate the murder of two men savagely gunned down in the middle of a residential street. Detectives learn that a roommate of the two victim's is missing. Now they need to track him down to find out what he knows about the murders. And in Cincinnati, Det. Hilbert and his team search for the suspect in a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded. Detectives hope the wounded man will be able to identify their shooter.

Episode 4 - Last FareIn Tucson, Detectives Jennifer Whitfield and Mike Carroll are called to investigate the robbery/homicide of 27-year-old cab driver and father-to-be Timothy Royce. In what appears to be a brutal and random crime with no leads, the case takes a turn when detectives get a surprise tip to the whereabouts of their suspects. Now they must hunt them down before they flee the country.

Episode 5 - Last Night Out / Death Do Us PartWhen a young man is gunned down outside a Cincinnati nightclub, witnesses see another young man running from the scene. Detectives Doug Lindle and Matt Thompson hope one of their witnesses can identify the shooter and help them catch a killer on the run. In Miami, a pair of one-year-old twins cry helplessly in the back of a black SUV -- their mother slumped over in the driver's seat, shot dead. Detectives Manny Castillo and Carlos Castellanos pursue every mysterious lead, hoping to find one that will identify their shooter.

Episode 6 - Lester StreetIn Memphis, Lt. Toney Armstrong and his team respond to Memphis's worst mass murder in more than 15 years, where they find four adults and two children dead. Armstrong's entire team is called to action as they scramble for leads, while the local media follows their every move. When investigators learn that the killings may have been committed by a "Blackout" squad--a gang-ordered directive to wipe out an entire family--they need to find the killers before they strike again.

Episode 7 - Breaking the Silence / Letters of IntentIn Cincinnati, Detectives Keith Witherell and Bill Hilbert attempt to crack the code of silence surrounding the death of a 28-year-old man gunned down on Main Street. In Dallas, Detectives Mark Ahearn and Robert Quirk work quickly to solve the murder of an aspiring social worker who risked her life by reaching out to help a two-time convicted killer.

Episode 8 - BlackoutIn Dallas, Det. Robert Arredondo and his team investigate the murder of a 22-year-old man tied up and shot along with two of his friends during a robbery. Armed with only the street names of his two suspects, Arredondo must identify them and track them down in a manhunt that takes them across the country.

Episode 9 - Bail Out / Seeing RedIn Dallas, Detectives Scott Sayers and Ken Penrod are investigating a home invasion that left a young man dead. Is their suspect just a young suburban mom, or a criminal mastermind? And in Cincinnati, a brutal stabbing ends the life of a hard-working grandfather. After interviewing a series of family members, Det. Jenny Luke finds out that her suspect may be closer than she initially thought.

Episode 10 - The Last Yard / Root of All EvilIn Memphis Sgt. Eric Freeman and the homicide team investigate the high-profile murder of a University of Memphis college football player found shot in his car near the university campus. Investigators must determine if the victim's long-standing feud with a fellow student resulted in a deadly vendetta. In Tucson, Detectives Jennifer Whitfield and Mike Carroll investigate the double murder of a married couple shot in their home. Detectives cross state borders in search of two potential suspects, an exotic dancer and a drug dealer who mysteriously fled town the day after the double homicide.

Episode 11 - Moving Out / Among ThievesIn Memphis, Sgt. Debo Carson and her team investigate the murder of a man shot dead outside of his house. The case takes a turn when a man investigators believe to be a witness becomes a suspect. In Dallas, a carjacking spree leaves one man dead. With only a general description of the getaway vehicle, a silver Infinity, Sgt. Larry Lewis and his team must pull out all the stops to track down the killers.

Episode 12 - Unwelcome Guest / WreckedIn Memphis, Sgt. Connie Justice investigates the homicide of a man found bludgeoned to death in his apartment. With no witnesses to the crime, Justice must rely on the physical evidence from the victim's apartment to track down her suspect. And in Minneapolis, Sergeants Nancy Dunlap and John Holthusen investigate the murder of a young man shot on the street after a car accident. As they close in on their suspect, they piece together how a late night car crash turned into a shooting.

Episode 13 - Collateral / Driven to KillIn Detroit, Sgt. Gary Diaz and Officer Kelly Mullins investigate a triple shooting that left a young mother and her friend dead. The third victim, a critically injured 18-year-old girl, is the only one who can tell them what happened. And in Dallas, a man is intentionally run down and killed by someone in a car. Detective John Palmer tracks down two potential suspects, but must figure out which one was driving.

Episode 14 - In Cold Blood / Red HandedIn Tucson, a grandfather is shot after answering a knock at his front door. The suspect's getaway car crashes a few blocks from the crime scene and the suspect flees. Det. Bill Hanson and his team hope that clues from the car will lead them to the alleged killers. And in Cincinnati, an elderly man is found strangled to death in his bedroom. Det. Jennifer Mitsch and her team hunt for a strange man who was seen knocking on neighbors' doors just before the murder.

Episode 15 - River's EdgeIn Minneapolis, Sergeants Bruce Folkens and Chris Karakostas work against the clock to solve the murder of an unknown homeless man, bludgeoned to death on the edge of the Mississippi Riverbank.

Episode 16 - Snapped / Fallen AngelIn Cincinnati, Detectives Jenny Luke and Terry McGuffey investigate the murder of a 56-year-old man brutally beaten to death in the stairwell of his apartment building. Luke tracks down two teenage suspects and is surprised to learn what triggered the deadly fight. In Dallas, Detective Eddie Ibarra and the homicide unit investigate the murder of a 28-year-old singer found shot in his car in a drug deal gone bad. Detectives discover the victim had a troubled past in Mexico that may have caught up with him.

Episode 17 - Smoke / Touch of EvilIn Dallas, a man is found dead in a vacant lot. With no leads, witnesses or motive, lead Det. Rick Duggan and his team must put the pieces of the case together to find their killer. And in Minneapolis, Sgt. Gerhard Wehr and Sgt. Jerry Wallerich are working one of the most brutal crimes of their careers--the violent stabbings of a mother and her 10-year-old son.

Episode 18 - Coma / DisappearedIn Dallas, two teenaged boys are shot outside a nightclub--one is critically wounded, the other is left in a coma. As Det. Eddie Ibarra puts the pieces of the case together, he is temporarily pulled away to assist in the search of woman who has been missing for six days.
