Episode 3 - TrustIn the aftermath of the school lockdown, Mariana is called out by other students who blame her for Nick's actions. Callie is also taunted at school and her inappropriate reaction gets her suspended.

Episode 4 - Now for ThenBrandon learns the unfortunate reality of being an adult and living with his girlfriend and her child. Meanwhile, Cortney's ex serves her with custody papers. Callie works on her senior project and learns some troubling information about one of her previous foster brothers.

Episode 5 - FortyIt is Lena's 40th birthday and the family prepares for her big 70s-themed bash. Callie and Aaron visit Kyle, Callie's former foster brother in juvie and try to come up with ways to get him a new trial.

Episode 6 - JustifyLena is shocked by news that her dad has been hiding something that directly puts them all in jeopardy. Additionally, she uncovers a major secret that Brandon has been keeping. Mariana continues to be pressured by Nick and must deal with direct opposition from the male members on her STEAM team.

Episode 7 - Highs and LowsWhen Jesus' birth father, Gabe, doesn't show up to work, Jesus takes on the job himself and gets injured in the process. An exhausted Mariana, deep into her robotics STEAM project, takes Jesus' ADHD medicine for a boost. Callie and AJ find themselves in an awkward situation when Mike and Brandon unexpectedly come home early.

Episode 10 - Collateral DamageCallie and the family set up a "Justice for Jack" booth at a music festival in an effort to stop Justine's foster care bill, but Callie's persistence in reopening Kyle's murder case lands her in a dangerous situation.

Episode 11 - Insult to InjuryIn the aftermath of Jesus' fight with Nick over Mariana, Jesus is knocked out. On the way to the hospital, things take a turn for the worse, leaving him fighting for his life. Meanwhile, Callie finds herself in a dangerous situation after taking a ride with Troy and Mariana is guilt-ridden over the fact that her actions led to Jesus' current condition.

Episode 12 - Dream a Little DreamJesus is in a coma and is having dreams that correlate with the things going on in his hospital room and things that have gone on in their family.

Episode 13 - Cruel and UnusualCallie is in juvie awaiting her hearing, while Jesus is still in the hospital. Stef and Lena are struggling to cope with all of the issues going on in their family.

Episode 14 - Doors and WindowsMariana is struggling through her breakup with Mat and she starts seeing her therapist again, while Jesus begins physical therapy.

Episode 15 - Sex EdBrandon supports Emma through a difficult situation, which makes Jesus suspicious about their friendship. When Jude learns that LGBT sex is not covered in his school's sex education class, he tries to gain knowledge through a dating app for adults. Callie uses her foster care experiences to create a provocative and poignant art installation as her senior project.

Episode 16 - The Long HaulSharon and Will return to the Adams-Foster home with exciting news. In an effort to come clean with Jesus, Emma writes him a letter but she quickly realizes that he is hiding a secret of his own.

Episode 17 - Diamond in the RoughAJ gives Mike his final decision about being adopted, while his relationship with Callie takes a turn for the worse. Stef starts her new assignment in human trafficking and takes a liking to a girl.

Episode 18 - Dirty LaundryMariana convinces Gabe to stay in town and help them with their treehouse project. Brandon asks permission to move into the garage, but that plan is quickly changed with Gabe moves in instead.

Episode 19 - Who KnowsWith Callie's court date inching closer, Robert's attorneys present a defense strategy that Callie vehemently opposes. Monte and Lena join forces to stop Drew's underhanded dealings. Stef works to bust Diamond’s pimp, and Jesus asks Gabe to keep a secret from his moms.

Episode 20 - Until TomorrowCallie is faced with the decision to take a plea deal and go to jail for 3 years, or go to trial and risk an even longer sentence. Mariana rallies her fellow students when they discover Anchor Beach may become an expensive private school.
