Debuting in "Captain America: The First Avenger," James Buchanan Barnes, or “Bucky,” fought alongside his best friend Steve Rogers during the Second World War. Barnes ultimately fell in battle, and Rogers believed his childhood pal was lost forever. He was wrong. Barely clinging to life, Bucky was found by HYDRA, subjected to monstrous experiments, and transformed into a legendary assassin known as The Winter Soldier. LEGENDS recounts Bucky’s story, one of tragedy and redemption, from his shocking appearance in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," to his heroic stand against the armies of Thanos in "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Endgame."
