Season 2 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Episode 1

Once again the Solana, Benidorm's premier all inclusive resort, plays host to its usual mix of holidaymakers all looking for sun, sea and savings – although not all of our regulars planned on being there. Kate and Martin have gone to a nearby picturesque village but find more than a chocolate on the pillow in their room.

Episode 2 - Episode 2

The Oracle's attempt to apologise to Mel for the diving accident leads to a bit of a Kung-Fu punch up. Instead of escaping from the resort Martin and Kate find themselves stuck in their room babysitting Telle's baby, Coolio. After his near death experience Mel abandons the idea of "having a crack at Wuthering Heights" at the karaoke night and instead asks a question that shocks everyone – especially Madge.

Episode 3 - Episode 3

Mel's proposal to Madge is the talk of the resort. Janice tries to convince Madge not to agree to a wedding to a man they have only known five minutes. After all, for all they know he could be a mass-murderer! Kate encounters Mateo again but after telling him that last years traumatic affair was simply a moment of madness it becomes clear that Mateo doesn't actually remember her. An arm-wrestling match organised by The Oracle and his Mum turns into Fight Club with a chance for some to settle old scores.

Episode 4 - Episode 4

Everyone, apart from The Oracle and Telle (who strike up an unlikely friendship) head off on a free trip to a bullfight. Though as they discover there is no such things as a free trip in Benidorm. The bullfight raises contrasting emotions. Some with strong feelings about animal rights feel unable to watch while Madge calls for them to stick a firework up the bull's arse and get him out there for some action. In the event it is not quite the bloodbath everyone was expecting.

Episode 5 - Episode 5

Mateo tries to get back with his old flame, Kelly. Unfortunately Kelly's mother Sylvia (Wendy Richard) is in town and she doesn't suffer fools gladly. Madge accuses Sylvia of messing with her man and a slanging match leads to their squaring up in their mobility chairs for a terrifying Western shoot out around the pool.

Episode 6 - Episode 6

Janice and Mick try to make Madge and Mel have second thoughts about their wedding –but Janice says the wrong thing to Madge and her and Mel snub The Garvey's. To make things worse for Janice, Mick has forgotten their wedding anniversary and to make herself feel better Janice enjoys the attentions of Jack, a young handsome admirer, rather too much. Donald and Jacqueline help Kelly to get her own back on Mateo in their own special way.

Episode 7 - Episode 7

Martin is worried as Kate has checked out and taken all her belongings. He thinks she may have popped out to the shops. Gavin's mother Dorothy (Margi Clarke) turns up unexpectedly but doesn't stay around very long. Jack, Janice's admirer, also turns up but outstays his welcome. Telle and The Oracle have a big date though drink leads to some confusion over who is a virgin. Everyone is invited to Mel and Madge's wedding on the beach.

Episode 8 - Episode 8

After Mel and Madge's romantic evening stroll on the beach is very rudely interrupted, what is supposed to be the most memorable day of their life proceeds to turn memorable for all the wrong reasons. Mick's last ditch attempt to dissuade Mel from the wedding brings about a revelation from Mel. Kate also has some unexpected news for Martin. Mel and The Oracle go head to head (or rather toe to head) once again but this time with disastrous consequences. Mick has another run in with the law but this time it's the Spanish Police.
