Season 8 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Episode 1

The Solana Hotel welcomes the Dawson family for the first time and bad Grandad Eddie is already causing trouble. Tiger brings along a new pal Joey who’s never been abroad before. Meanwhile Joyce Temple Savage is on the lookout for a new member of staff. She must choose between the efficient, goody two shoes Amber and the completely incapable but outrageously flirtatious Marcus.

                                         

Episode 2 - Episode 2

Joyce has been let down by her first-aid instructor and must find someone else to train the staff. Kenneth could be in for a windfall after the death of Uncle Herbert. Troy and Jacqueline have a plan to save the salon.

                                      

Episode 3 - Episode 3

The Maltbys are back at the Solana and Geoff gets some terrible news from back home as his status as quiz champion ‘The Oracle’ is revoked. Pauline must battle her own demons as her period of sobriety is being seriously tested by the hotel’s all-inclusive policy. There is a property auction on at the Solana.

                                   

Episode 4 - Episode 4

Pauline falls spectacularly off the wagon to the dismay of Noreen and Geoff. Geoff stages an intervention but not before Pauline has drunkenly befriended Jodie who was left under the not-so-watchful eye of Eddie. The Solana wristbands are being replaced by a new and improved I.D. card system.

                                   

Episode 5 - Episode 5

Tiger and Joey attempt to climb a mountain on the outskirts of Benidorm and soon have a run in with a fellow hiker who takes exception to their seemingly loutish behaviour. The Maltby family decide to cut their holiday short. Romance is in the air at the Solana with both Eddie and Rob bagging themselves a date, much to the amusement of the rest of the family.

                                   

Episode 6 - Episode 6

It’s the Benidorm fancy dress bonanza and the whole town is dressed to impress. Lesley, however, is down in the dumps as he is missing Liam more than ever. Amber and the staff hatch a plan to cheer him up. Troy thinks he is being stalked by his ex, Gavin. However, when Kenneth discovers Gavin is on holiday in Venice, the threat soon turns out to be much more sinister.

                                   

Episode 7 - Episode 7

Sir Henry arrives at the Solana to ask Joyce for a favour, The Benidorm Palace has had a power cut and he needs somewhere to host the 'Pride of Benidorm' Awards… tonight. Sammy Valentino is the sleazy D-list celebrity chosen to host the Awards and he soon starts causing trouble with his cheesy patter and wandering eye. Jodie’s acting career gets a boost when she is accepted into stage school but how will the family afford the astronomical school fees? Eddie thinks he might have the solution.
