Changed his name from Terrence to Finn to avoid confusion with the Monty Python actor. Made his TV debut in a spinoff of the UK soap opera Hollyoaks, called Hollyoaks Later. Originally auditioned for the role of Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, but was cast as Loras Tyrell instead.
Assisted with a 2015 Oxfam fundraiser to support Syrian refugees by singing Christmas carols. A vocal supporter of social causes, including gay rights, and racial and gender equality.
