Trivia: Actor and stunt man Fred Stromsoe worked in both television and feature films. His television credits include a regular role as Officer Woods on Adam-12 between 1974 and 1975. He also appeared in segments of Wild, Wild West and Gunsmoke.

Trivia: Red-headed, freckle-faced Martin Milner was only 15 when he made his screen debut in Life With Father (1947), and would continue to play wide-eyed high schoolers and college kids well into the next decade. His early film assignments included the teenaged Marine recruit in Lewis Milestone's The Halls of Montezuma (1951) and the obnoxious suitor of Jeanne Crain in Belles on Their Toes (1952). His first regular TV series was The Stu Erwin Show (1950-1955), in which he played the boyfriend (and later husband) of Stu's daughter Joyce. More mature roles came his way in Marjorie Morningstar (1957) as Natalie Wood's playwright sweetheart and in The Sweet Smell of Success (1957) as the jazz musician targeted for persecution by Winchell-esque columnist Burt Lancaster. Beginning in 1960, he enjoyed a four-year run as Corvette-driving Tod Stiles on TV's Route 66 (a statue of Milner and his co-star George Maharis currently stands at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY). A longtime friend and associate of producer/director/actor Jack Webb, Milner was cast as veteran L.A.P.D. patrolman Pete Malloy on the Webb-produced TV weekly Adam-12, which ran from 1968 to 1975. His later TV work included a short-lived 1970s series based on Johan Wyss' Swiss Family Robinson. Later employed as a California radio personality, Martin Milner continued to make occasional TV guest appearances; one of these was in the 1989 TV movie Nashville Beat, in which he was reunited with his Adam-12 co-star Kent McCord. He made an appearance on the short-lived series The New Adam-12 and had recurring roles on shows like Life Goes On and Murder, She Wrote. Milner died in 2015, at age 83.

Trivia: Character actor Harry Hickox worked on radio, television, stage, and in a few feature films of the 1950s and 1960s. Born in Big Spring, TX, Hickox found his first professional work on the radio, in post-WWII Hollywood. His Broadway credits include a role as the anvil salesman in The Music Man, a part he would reprise in the 1962 film version. He made his film debut in The Scarlet Hour (1956) and went on to appear in a variety of 1960s features, including the Elvis Presley vehicle Speedway (1968) and The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (1964), opposite Don Knotts. On television, Hickox played Sgt. King in No Time for Sergeants (1964-1965) and Herb Thornton in Please Don't Eat the Daisies (1965-1966). He also guest starred in numerous series.

Trivia: The daughter of French refugees, Gigi Perreau was born within a stone's throw of Hollywood. Registered with Central Casting as an infant, 18-month-old Gigi played Eve Curie as a baby in 1942's Madame Curie, and at two played young Fanny (who grew up to be Bette Davis) in Mrs. Skeffington. As soon as she was able to talk, Gigi was being groomed by her managers as a potential Margaret O'Brien replacement. A little less mannered and more versatile than O'Brien, Gigi was at her best in such roles as Ann Blyth's irksome kid sister in My Foolish Heart (1950) an emotionally disturbed murder witness in Shadow on the Wall (1950), and a yet-to-be-born child shopping around for suitable parents in the 1950 comedy/fantasy For Heaven's Sake (1950). As her film career faded, Perreau flourished briefly as a TV leading lady, with supporting roles on the 1959 sitcom The Betty Hutton Show and the 1961 adventure weekly Follow the Sun. Adult stardom eluded her however, and by 1967 she was retired. Gigi Perreau was the sister of two other juvenile performers, Janine Perreau and Richard Miles; in the early 1960s, Perreau and brother Richard managed a popular Los Angeles art gallery.

Trivia: American actor Willie Aames, born Albert William Upton, spent his youth working steadily on television and occasionally in low-budget foreign and domestic features. He first began making guest appearances on television in 1969. In 1975, he was cast in Irwin Allen's short-lived adventure series The Swiss Family Robinson. One of his co-stars was a young Helen Hunt. By this time, he had also appeared in a few television movies, including Unwed Father (1974). In 1977, Aames began a long stint in one of his best-known roles, that of rebellious teen Tommy Bradford in the popular domestic comedy/drama Eight Is Enough. With his mop of dark blonde hair, slim physique, and handsome face, Aames became a popular teen idol. In 1979, Aames made his feature-film debut in Scavenger Hunt. When Eight Is Enough was finally canceled in 1981, Aames went on to appear in a couple more films, including Zapped (1982), before returning to series television in the role for which he may be best remembered, as Scott Baio's irresponsible foil in the sitcom Charles in Charge (1984-1990). Through this period he continued to show up in movies. Through much of the '80s, Aames battled with cocaine and depression and became notorious in Hollywood for his erratic behavior. By the time Charles was canceled in 1990, he had cleaned up his act, become a born-again Christian, married for the second time, and in 1991, decided to move to Kansas City where he became a producer and director of videos and commercials. In the mid-'90s, he began starring as an evangelical superhero in the Bibleman series of youth-oriented musical videos.
