Part 3, "Long Knives," recalls the daring endeavor of Lt. Col. George Rogers Clark (1752-1818), in 1777, to capture British forts in Illinois and Indiana with only 175 men in the brutal months of winter. Clark was the brother of explorer William Clark, of the Lewis and Clark expedition.
