A girl from an Indian middle-class family struggles through life trying to find a way through various social confines to achieve her dream of becoming an Indian Police Service officer. Due to family constraints, she marries a man who runs a sweet shop, an event which she thought would douse her dream for good, but life throws a good surprise at her in the form of a husband who supports her with his heart and soul.

Won the Star Privaar Favourite Bahu and Favourite Naya Sadasya (Female) awards in 2012 Met her husband Rohit Raj Goy whilst filming for Diya Baati Hum, as he directs the show.
