Miley Cyrus (Actor) .. Miley Stewart
Born: November 23, 1992
Birthplace: Franklin, Tennessee, United States
Trivia: The daughter of country-music superstar Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus got her start in the entertainment industry on an episode of her father's PAX TV medical series Doc before appearing in Tim Burton's fantastical 2003 adventure Big Fish. A fateful appearance as the character Hannah Montana in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody followed in 2006, and her character proved so popular that a spin-off series called Hannah Montana was launched shortly thereafter. In the series, Cyrus portrayed a fun-loving California teen who just happens to be moonlighting as a world-famous pop star. Only Hannah's family (which includes her real-life father on the series) and her two closest friends, Lilly (Emily Osment) and Oliver (Mitchel Musso), know the truth about Hannah's remarkable secret life. The series would spawn a big picture adaptation in 2009, as well as a concert movie in 2010, but Cyrus also took on other acting roles, like the part of a rebellious delinquent in 2010's The Last Song, and a tech-savvy teenager in 2012's LOL. In 2013, Cyrus staged a music comeback, releasing her album Bangerz and spent the majority of 2014 on tour, supporting the album; she also appeared in a TV special promoting the tour. In 2015, she appeared on Saturday Night Live's 40 Anniversary Special, singing a cover of Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover."
Emily Osment (Actor) .. Lilly
Born: March 10, 1992
Birthplace: Los Angeles, California, United States
Trivia: The younger sister of screen star Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense, A.I.), Emily Osment followed in the footsteps of her sibling by essaying an acting career early in life; she officially debuted at the age of five (in 1997), in an FTD florist commercial, then bowed dramatically two years later, with a small role opposite Linda Hamilton and Eugene Levy in the teen picture The Secret Life of Girls (1999). Osment subsequently enjoyed a recurring role as Gerti Giggles in the second and third installments of the Spy Kids series, but garnered her biggest fan base among teenage and preteen girls for her portrayal of Lilly Truscott, the best friend of the title character in the blockbuster Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. She provided numerous voices for the direct-to-video sequel Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 in 2011, and that same year starred in the movie Cyberbully.
Mitchel Musso (Actor) .. Oliver
Born: July 01, 1991
Birthplace: Garland, Texas, United States
Trivia: A lifelong actor who was just 7 years old when he portrayed a diminutive Chewbacca in a children's remake of Star Wars, Rockwall, TX, native Mitchel Musso appeared in print campaigns for McDonalds and Rand McNally before turning up in television commercials for Sony {!PlayStation and Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum. Of course, the ambitious youngster had more in mind than simply being a pitchman for a product, and in 2003 Musso would make his big-screen debut opposite both younger brother Marc and child superstar Haley Joel Osment in the coming-of-age comedy Secondhand Lions. Television roles in Oliver Beene and Stacked were quick to follow, though it was the 2006 hit Disney Channel series Hannah Montana that truly found the talented youngster's career blasting into overdrive on the small screen. Cast opposite Miley Cyrus, Jason Earles, and Emily Osment, Musso played the best friend of a talented young singer who leads a secret double life as a teen-pop superstar. Back on the big screen, Musso provided the voice of a suburban adolescent who suspects that his neighbor's house may hold a dark secret in the computer-animated hit Monster House. More vocal work was quick to follow when Musso stepped behind the microphone to provide the voice for pilot Aang in the animated Nickelodeon series Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Jeremy in Phineas and Ferb.
Jason Earles (Actor) .. Jackson Stewart
Born: April 26, 1985
Birthplace: San Diego, California, United States
Trivia: Actor Jason Earles is known to many as big brother Jackson on the popular tween comedy Hannah Montana. Having actually grown up in the state of Montana, Earles eventually attended Rocky Mountain College, which he graduated from in 2000. He then appeared in the gross-out comedy American Pie Presents: Band Camp before landing the role on Hannah Montana that would make him a familiar face in living rooms all over America. Earles would go on to enjoy similar success on the tween series Kickin' It.
Billy Ray Cyrus (Actor) .. Robby Stewart
Born: August 25, 1961
Birthplace: Flatwoods, Kentucky, United States
Trivia: Initially written off as a one-hit wonder following the meteoric rise and fall of his superstardom (thanks to the 1992 single "Achy Breaky Heart" and its accompanying album, Some Gave All), country-rocker Billy Ray Cyrus caught his second wind in the early 2000s. He then staged a considerable comeback in film and television, defying the expectations of many naysayers who believed it impossible for Cyrus to escape from the shadow of that one love-it-or-hate-it single. Some limited film experience, of course, accompanied the Kentuckian heartthrob's early music career, by virtue of the music videos and occasional performance films he cranked out (such as the 1992 Billy Ray Cyrus: Live). He failed to gain notice as an actor, however, until the early 2000s. As the new millennium dawned, Cyrus moved from the echelons of Nashville to those of Hollywood. He began at a somewhat low ebb, with a turn in the straight-to-video actioner Radical Jack (2000), opposite DeDee Pfeiffer, sister of Michelle. In that B-picture (which does not feature rollicking musical numbers), Cyrus travels the route hewn by Patrick Swayze, The Rock (in his remake Walking Tall), Lyle Alzado, and many others. He played Jack Reynolds, a leather clad, chopper-riding southerner who uses his steel fist to wipe clean a town full of redneck scumbags; Pfeiffer, of course, portrayed his romantic interest. The following year, Cyrus toned it down several notches and allowed his soft side to emerge, with a direct appeal to the female demographic and to more sensitive male viewers. He signed on as the lead in the PAX channel's series comedy drama Doc, playing Dr. Clint Cassidy, a sweet-natured Montana physician who follows the love of his life to the Big Apple and accepts a position at a Manhattan hospital, where his gracious charm and easygoing style win the heart of many a patient. That program scored with PAX viewers and lasted several seasons. After a minor role in David Lynch's spectacular Mulholland Dr. (a significant step up from Radical Jack) and turns in such features as Valerie McCaffrey's acclaimed black comedy Wish You Were Dead (2002) and Scott Coffey's quirky dramedy Ellie Parker (2005), the former country singer scored a double whammy. He portrayed the dad and manager of "secret teen pop sensation" Hannah Montana (played, in turn, by Cyrus' real-life daughter, Miley Cyrus) on that character's eponymous Disney Channel sitcom, and then found an even broader fan base (drawing from his roots in country rock and sporting a shaggy mane) when the singer-turned-actor joined the fourth season of the competitive reality series Dancing With the Stars as one of the latest celebs to partner up with a professional ballroom dancer. Cyrus and partner Karina Smirnoff, despite earning low scores from the judges, were able to stay in the competition until just before the semifinals due to the viewers' votes (which count as half of their overall score each week). They were eventually booted off the show in May 2007, just after judge Bruno Tonioli controversially referred to Cyrus' latest performance as "crap."Just months later, Cyrus issued a new album on Walt Disney Records, which included covers of "Over the Rainbow," "Brown-Eyed Girl," and "Put a Little Love in My Heart," as well as new songs. Cyrus continued to work on Hannah Montana throughout the 2000s, and appeared in the feature film Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009. In 2010, Cyrus joined Jackie Chan for a supporting role in The Spy Next Door, and starred in the holiday feature Christmas Comes to Canaan in 2011. Cyrus would continue to work in many areas of performance over the coming years, releasing albums, like 2012's Changed My Mind.
Moises Arias (Actor) .. Rico
Born: April 18, 1994
Birthplace: New York, New York, United States
Trivia: Actor Moisés Arias entered movies during his preteen years, specializing in colorful, high-energy characterizations, often of a Hispanic nature. He is perhaps best known for his ongoing portrayal of Rico, the pint-sized ladykiller and surf-shop proprietor on the blockbuster Disney Channel series Hannah Montana, a role he reprised in the 2009 big-screen feature version. Additional projects include a small supporting role in the Mexican wrestling comedy Nacho Libre (2007) opposite Jack Black, and another supporting turn in director William Dear's period baseball yarn The Perfect Game (2008).
