Linda Gray (Actor) .. Helen Sawyer
Born: September 12, 1940
Birthplace: Santa Monica, California, United States
Trivia: Tall (5'7 1/2"), brunette fashion model Linda Gray began her acting career in television commercials-nearly 400 of them, in fact. While shopping in a health-food store one day in the early 1970s, Gray struck up a friendly conversation with a woman who turned out to be Mrs. Dennis Weaver; as a result, Gray was cast in her first substantial dramatic role on Weaver's weekly series McCloud. Her first regular TV-series gig was as an unlikely transsexual on the satirical soap opera All That Glitters (1977). From 1978 through 1991, Gray was seen as Sue Ellen Ewing on the prime-time serial Dallas. Linda Gray has since been co-starred on the 1994 Fox Network Models Inc.
Cathy Lee Crosby (Actor) .. Joan Hollins
Born: December 02, 1944
Trivia: Cathy Lee Crosby is the daughter of Hollywood actress Linda Hayes and Lawrence Welk Show announcer Lou Crosby. Crosby began her own showbiz career at five, appearing on her dad's local L.A. TV series, Crosbys' Calling. Like her sisters, Linda Lou and Lucinda Sue, Cathy Lee proved to be a superb athlete at an early age; before reaching the age of 21, she was a professional tennis player and recreational skydiver, windsurfer, and swimmer. Thus, she was uniquely qualified for the title role in the 1974 made-for-TV film The New, Original Wonder Woman. Intended as the pilot for a weekly series, Wonder Woman scored in the ratings, but was shot down by the critics; when a series did finally surface in 1976, Lynda Carter played the lead. Crosby cut her losses, made a few films in Europe (she is fluent in several languages), and returned to athletics. In 1980, she became one of the co-hosts of the popular "reality" TVer That's Incredible, a job she held down until 1984. Still hoping to be taken seriously as an actress, Cathy Lee Crosby made her off-Broadway bow in the 1988 production Almost Perfect; she has also remained active in a variety of charitable and prosocial organizations. Cathy Lee Crosby should not be confused with Live With Regis and Kathie Lee co-star Kathie Lee (Crosby) Gifford and she is not the daughter of Bing Crosby.
Martha Byrne (Actor) .. Donna McDermott
Born: December 23, 1969
Birthplace: Ridgewood, New Jersey, United States
Trivia: Landed her first acting job at age 10, playing an orphan in the Broadway musical Annie. Was 15 when she was cast as Lily Walsh on As the World Turns. Founded the annual Daytime Salutes St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital benefit in 1993. Was nominated for Daytime Emmys multiple times; she won Outstanding Younger Actress in 1987 and Outstanding Lead Actress in 2001. Two of her pregnancies were chronicled on TLC's A Baby Story: the 2002 birth of her second son and the 2006 birth of her daughter. Was hired as a writer for the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful in 2009.
Dorian Harewood (Actor) .. Lt. Harlan Dugger
Born: August 06, 1950
Trivia: African American leading man Dorian Harewood attended the University of Cincinnati before establishing his theatrical reputation, first in the cast of the Broadway rock musical Two Gentlemen of Verona, then in the road company of Jesus Christ, Superstar. He won a Theatre Guild Award for his work in the 1974 production Don't Call Back. In films since 1976's Sparkle, Harewood is best known for his powerful supporting roles, most notably the unfortunate "grunt" Eightball in Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket (1987). His television resumé includes the part of Alex Haley's father in the 1979 miniseries Roots: The Next Generation and the title roles in the made-for-TV movies The Jessie Owens Story (1984) and Guilty of Innocence: The Lenell Geter Story (1987); he has also played recurring roles on such series as Glitter, The Trials of Rosie O'Neill, and Viper. Harewood has always attributed much of his success to actress Bette Davis, who while lecturing at the U. of Cincinnati encouraged the young actor to aggressively pursue his dreams of stardom. Dorian Harewood is the husband of actress Ann McCurry.
