Don Hastings (Actor) .. Dr. Bob Hughes
Kathryn Hays (Actor) .. Kim Hughes
Born: July 26, 1933
Trivia: Kathryn Hays is best known for her work as an actress on television -- ironically, her most notable credits in that medium reside in two vastly different genres and professional engagements: as a longtime member of the cast of the daytime drama As The World Turns, portraying Kim Sullivan Hughes for more than 30 years; and for her performance in a single 1968 episode of the science fiction series Star Trek, entitled "The Empath." Hays was born in Princeton, IL, and raised in Joliet. She did theatrical work from the outset of her career, but from the early '60s also distinguished herself on television -- starting with a 1962 episode of the police drama Naked City up through a regular role on The Guiding Light, and on to her multi-decade work on As the World Turns. The Star Trek episode "The Empath" cast Hays in a mute role as "Gem," an alien who is trapped beneath the surface of a dying planet with the captain (William Shatner), first officer (Leonard Nimoy), and senior medical officer (DeForest Kelley) of the starship Enterprise. Her wonderfully expressive features (especially her eyes) and her portrayal -- which was almost balletic at times -- allowed Hays to totally dominate the screen and the episode without uttering a word of dialogue; many fans of the series regard her work as the finest guest-starring portrayal in the entire run of the show, and she helped to turn "The Empath" into the best single episode of the series' third season. Around this same time, Hays also starred in one theatrical film, Ralph Nelson's music-and-war drama Counterpoint (1967), playing opposite Charlton Heston. During this period, from 1966 through 1969, she was also married to Glenn Ford, who was then part of the shrinking ranks of genuine big-screen legends in the movie business. As a New York-based actress, Hays' career has mostly been centered on the small screen, as well as the stage. She is virtually an acting institution among daytime drama aficionados, and her work on As the World Turns hasn't stopped her from doing occasional guest-star turns in such New York-filmed dramas as Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU in more recent years.
Ellen Dolan (Actor) .. Margo Hughes
Scott Holmes (Actor) .. Tom Hughes
Marie Masters (Actor) .. Dr. Susan Stewart
Born: February 04, 1941
Elizabeth Hubbard (Actor) .. Lucinda Walsh
Born: December 22, 1933
Trivia: American actress Elizabeth Hubbard found success on stage, screen and television. She got her start after studying drama in London, where she won several prizes for her work. She has only occasionally worked in film, most notably I Never Sang for My Father (1970). She also worked on daytime soap operas.
Kathleen Widdoes (Actor) .. Emma Snyder
Born: March 21, 1939
Trivia: American actress Kathleen Widdoes was rigorously trained at Universite au Theatre des Nations, Paris. Widdoes launched her professional stage career in Delaware and Canada. She made her Broadway debut in 1958 The First Born, then understudied the lead in World of Suzie Wong. In the 1960s and 1970s she worked steadily for Joseph Papp's New York Shakespeare Festival, and also appeared as Beatrice in Papp's 1973 TV adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing. An established presence on Canadian TV from 1957, Widdoes played the title characters in video versions of Ondine, Colombe and St. Joan. Her American TV work was perhaps less prestigious but certainly more financially rewarding; she was a regular on three soap operas, Young Dr. Malone, As the World Turns (as Emma Snyder) and Another World (as Rose Perrini). After nearly a decades' worth of stage and TV appearances, she was "discovered" for films as Helena in 1966's The Group. More recently, Kathleen Widdoes was seen as Angelina Giancana in the made-for-TV Mafia Princess, and was prominently featured in the 1996 theatrical film Courage Under Fire.
Eileen Fulton (Actor) .. Lisa Grimaldi
Terri Colombino (Actor) .. Katie Peretti
Born: January 28, 1975
Birthplace: Bloomington, Indiana, United States
Trivia: Attended high-school prom with classmate Neil Patrick Harris. Originated the role of Katie Peretti in 1998 on As the World Turns, a character created specifically for her after she auditioned for the role of Georgia. The birth of her daughter Julia (with then-husband Artie Colombino) was chronicled in a 2004 episode of TLC's A Baby Story. Met real-life partner Austin Peck in 2007 when the two were paired together as an on-screen couple on As the World Turns. Following the cancellation of As the World Turns, Conn was cast on One Life to Live in 2010. Boyfriend Peck joined her as a cast member on OLTL in 2011.
Kelley Menighan Hensley (Actor) .. Emily Stewart
Trivia: A native of Glenview, IL, actress Kelley Menighan Hensley attended Southern Methodist University as an English and theater major and art history minor, then received additional training in dance, acting, and production (the latter from Hollywood players Michael and Melissa Trikilis). Menighan Hensley commenced professional acting roles in the early '90s. She achieved broadest recognition for her ongoing portrayal of cunning entrepreneur Emily Stewart on the soap As the World Turns, starting in 1992. Menighan Hensley's resumé also includes appearances on the daytime drama The Young and the Restless and in the telemovie The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw.
Jon Hensley (Actor) .. Holden Snyder
Roger Howarth (Actor) .. Paul Ryan
Born: September 13, 1968
Grayson McCouch (Actor) .. Dusty Donovan
Born: October 29, 1968
Birthplace: New York, New York, United States
Trivia: Has loved horses and riding since he was a child. Founded Graystone Studios which offered acting seminars that emphasized preparation and the individual process. In a nod to his mother's heritage, has been a vocal advocate for education about the history of Israel. Claimed that he is often mistaken for fellow actor Brian Austin Green.
Colleen Zenk Pinter (Actor) .. Barbara Ryan
Maura West (Actor) .. Carly Tenney Snyder
Born: April 27, 1972
Birthplace: Springfield, Massachusetts, United States
Trivia: Born and raised in Springfield, MA, with three older siblings, actress Maura West studied dramatic arts at Boston University (where she earned her bachelor's), and merely a year after graduation snagged a covetable ongoing role as the conniving Carly Tenney, a gold-digging fashion designer sociopathically envious of her well-to-do-older sister, on the soap As the World Turns. The assignment began in 1995, and -- save a one-year lapse between 1996 and 1997 -- continued unabated for multiple seasons; in no time at all, Carly became a deep-seated and integral part of the series drama. In the part, West netted a 2007 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress, and also claimed numerous Emmy nominations for supporting and lead acting work.
Trent Dawson (Actor) .. Henry Coleman
Born: February 04, 1971
Birthplace: Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States
Trivia: Actor Trent Dawson attained widest recognition for his extended portrayal of Henry Coleman on the daytime soap opera As the World Turns but also evinced a deft hand, off-camera, for Elizabethan stage roles. A native of Baton Rouge, LA, Dawson landed an early bit part during his late teens, by virtue of the fact that an A-list Hollywood production -- Herb Ross' tearjerker Steel Magnolias (1989) -- was shot near his hometown. (Dawson turns up uncredited, as a choir member in the film.) The performer attended Boston University for a short time but subsequently took a year-long sabbatical in Europe, and ultimately earned his degree in drama from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In that venue, Dawson became entranced by the works of the great Bard (participating avidly in the Colorado Shakespeare Festival), and indeed spent his immediate post-collegiate years acting in Broadway productions of Love's Labour's Lost, As You Like It, Macbeth, and other Shakespearean plays, as well as innumerable regional productions of contemporary efforts such as Pal Joey and School for Scandal. Dawson signed for his Coleman role on World in the autumn of 1999 and carried the part for many seasons; for his efforts, he earned Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2006 and 2007. Dawson would appear on other shows over the coming years as well, including The Good Wife and Homeland.
Spencer Grammer (Actor) .. Lucy Montgomery
Born: October 09, 1983
Birthplace: Los Angeles, California, United States
Trivia: The daughter of Dr. Frasier Crane himself (actor Kelsey Grammer) and his first wife, Broadway dancer Doreen Alderman (the two divorced when she was seven), Spencer Grammer grew up in the City of Angels and nurtured acting ambitions from as early as she could remember. The young ingenue took her first on-camera bow at the age of eight, as an extra on an episode of Cheers, and during her secondary school years attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and then Marymount Manhattan College. By the age of 23 (in 2006), she landed a regular role on the daytime drama As the World Turns, but achieved far greater prominence as a star of the weekly seriocomedy Greek (2007), about the trials and travails of fraternity and sorority life at apocryphal Cyprus-Rhodes University; the producers of that program cast Grammer as Casey, an intelligent and complex member of the Zeta Beta Zeta sorority.
Jennifer Landon (Actor) .. Gwen Norbeck
Born: August 29, 1983
Birthplace: Malibu, California, United States
Trivia: As the daughter of the late Michael Landon, Jennifer Landon naturally scored her first acting gig on her dad's show Highway to Heaven when she was only six. Landon tragically lost her father to cancer in 1991 when she was eight, but the young actress continued to take inspiration from his work, attending New York University after high school, where she appeared in many of the university's theatrical productions. In 2005, she was cast as Gwen Norbeck Munson on the popular daytime soap As the World Turns, winning a Daytime Emmy after her first season in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress; she won the same award the following year as well.
Duane McLaughlin (Actor) .. Dallas Griffin
Michael Park (Actor) .. Jack Snyder
Born: July 20, 1968
Birthplace: Canandaigua, New York, United States
Trivia: Went to school to be an architect, but eventually decided on an acting career after he kept winning lead roles in musical theater productions he was doing for fun. Made his Broadway debut as part of the original cast of Smokey Joe's Cafe on March 2, 1995. Appeared opposite Martin Short, who won a Tony for his performance, in Little Me. Supports The ARC, Oneida-Lewis Chapter, an organization designed to help people with mental disabilities.
Marie Wilson (Actor) .. Meg Snyder
Born: December 30, 1916
Died: November 23, 1972
Trivia: The quintessential dumb, buxom blonde, Marie Wilson was born in Anaheim, CA, then moved with her family to Hollywood after the death of her father. She received her first screen role as Mary Quite Contrary in the Laurel and Hardy version of Babes in Toyland (1934), through the auspices of her then-husband, writer/director Nick Grinde. Signed to a Warner Bros. contract, Wilson cemented her scatterbrained reputation in such films as Satan Met a Lady (1936) and Boy Meets Girl (1938). In 1944, she was hired by Ken Murray to perform a comedy striptease in Murray's Hollywood stage revue Blackouts; the engagement lasted five years and 2,332 performances. In 1947, Wilson starred in the radio sitcom "My Friend Irma," which led to two theatrical films (the first of which introduced Martin and Lewis to the moviegoing audience) and a TV series. Her open, grinning face belying her age, Wilson continued doing her dumb-blonde act into the 1960s, starring in summer stock and dinner-theater productions of Born Yesterday and appearing in commercials. Marie Wilson's last TV assignment was a voice-over role in the 1970 animated cartoon series Where's Huddles?; two years later, she died of cancer at the age of 56.
Van Hansis (Actor) .. Luke Snyder
Jesse Lee Soffer (Actor) .. Will Munson
Born: April 23, 1984
Birthplace: Connecticut, United States
Trivia: Connecticut native Jesse Lee Soffer began his career at the tender age of eight when he appeared in the film Matinee, about the sci-fi movies that were popular in the 1950s. At the time, the youngster was performing under the stage name Jesse Lee, and he used that name when he appeared in many films throughout the '90s, such as The Brady Bunch Movie and Safe Passage. By the time he joined the cast of the well-known, long-running daytime soap opera As the World Turns in 2004, however, he was acting under his full name, Jesse Lee Soffer.

She then moved on to The Young and the Restless as Shiloh, before taking on the role of Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives and then Janet Ciccone on As the World Turns.

Birthplace: Rovereto
Billy Magnussen (Actor) .. Casey Hughes
Born: April 20, 1985
Birthplace: Woodhaven, Queens, New York, United States

Made Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of The Ritz. Big break came in 2008 being cast as Casey Hughes on As the World Turns. Meryl Streep caught his Tony-nominated performance in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, and recommended him to director Rob Marshall for the film adaptation of Into the Woods; landed the role of Rapunzel's prince. Ashley Marie Greiner (Actor) .. Faith Snyder
Lesli Kay (Actor) .. Molly Conlan
Born: June 13, 1965
Birthplace: Charleston, West Virginia, United States
Trivia: Perhaps best known for her Emmy award-winning role as Molly Conlan McKinnon in the long-running daytime drama As the World Turns, actress Lesli Kay stands well apart from the pack due to her remarkable commitment to the craft. While Kay had previously appeared in such risqué features as Petticoat Planet and Cyberella: Forbidden Passions, it's the brunette beauty's television work that garnered her the most attention -- with an Emmy award-winning performance on As the World Turns following a decade of work on screens both small and large. Additional roles on Loving, One Life to Live, and Ryan's Hope found Kay working the soap opera circuit with remarkable skill, though in 2004 she would find herself immersed in controversy with claims that she had been fired by the producers of General Hospital for getting pregnant.Still, co-star Corbin Bernsen was impressed enough with the actress that he cast her in his 2005 comedy Carpool Guy, and she followed that up with a one-episode appearance on CSI: NY. That very same year, Kay joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as Felicia Forrester -- daughter to Eric and Stephanie Forrester. When her character was diagnosed with cancer, Kay stunned viewers by shaving her head in order to make Felicia's plight more believable, and her commitment to the role paid off in the form of a Daytime Emmy nomination.
Daniel Cosgrove (Actor) .. Christopher Robert Hughes
Born: December 16, 1970
Birthplace: New Haven, Connecticut, United States
Trivia: Connecticut native Daniel Cosgrove showed a propensity for soap operas when he began his acting career in 1996, with a prominent role on the long-running soap All My Children. Being cast in the series meant relocating to New York, but two years later he made an even bigger move when he headed to L.A. for a part in another drama, this time a night-time soap: Beverly Hills 90210. He stayed with the show for two years before moving on to pursue a variety of film roles, including the villainous Richard Bagg in National Lampoon's Van Wilder, but soon Cosgrove went back to his roots with a role on another popular daytime soap, Guiding Light. He played Harlan Billy Lewis III on the series from 2002 to 2007, when he left the show for the ABC prime-time drama Dirty Sexy Money, playing the recurring role of Freddy Mason, pro-golfer and financé of divorcée Karen Darling (Natalie Zea).
Allie Gorenc (Actor) .. Sage Snyder
Alexa Kaplan (Actor) .. Hallie Munson
Katy Selverstone (Actor) .. Francoise
Born: February 04, 1966
Terri Garber (Actor) .. Iris Dumbrowski
Born: December 28, 1960
Billy Warlock (Actor) .. Anthony Blackthorn
Born: March 26, 1960
Trivia: Though tagged by one publication as "one of prime-time TV's great new faces" when he joined the cast of NBC's Baywatch in the late '80s, Billy Warlock had -- by that point -- already eked out an eminently successful career in multiple venues, including big-screen features (Halloween II, 1981); soap operas (Days of Our Lives, as Frankie Brady), and prime-time situation comedy. Born in Gardena, CA, Warlock achieved his big break thanks to television guru Garry Marshall, who hired him for a guest-starring role in the Robin Williams/Pam Dawber sitcom Mork & Mindy. The positive working relationship with Marshall led, in turn, to a memorable one-season stint as Flip Phillips, the younger brother of English teacher Roger Phillips (Ted McGinley) on the blockbuster ABC sitcom Happy Days (ca. 1982-1983). Warlock joined the cast of Baywatch in 1989; thanks to his presence on that program, he achieved enormous popularity and evolved into a major sex symbol, and in fact remained with the series for one season after it went into syndication in 1991. In subsequent years, Warlock opted to focus more of his attention on soaps, enjoying lengthy runs on daytime dramas including As the World Turns, The Young and the Restless, and a brief reprise of his Brady role on Days in 2005 and 2006.
