Lee Majors (Actor) .. Colt Seavers
Born: April 23, 1939
Birthplace: Wyandotte, Michigan, United States
Trivia: A football star at Eastern Kentucky State College, Lee Majors came to Los Angeles armed with a physical education degree and possessed with a vague desire to break into films. He worked as a park recreation director for the City of Los Angeles before entering show business in 1963. Majors was promoted as "the New James Dean," though he personally aspired to become a new Steve McQueen or Paul Newman (he also retained his permit to work as a recreation director, just in case the world wasn't holding its breath for a new Dean, McQueen or Newman). Majors achieved stardom on his own merits in a variety of television series, the most recent of which was 1992's Raven. His best-known TV roles included Heath Barkley on The Big Valley (1965-69), bionic Steve Austin on The Six Million Dollar Man (1973-78) and stunt man Colt Seavers on The Fall Guy (1981-86). In addition, he has headlined a number of made-for-TV movies, essaying the old Gary Cooper part in the 1991 sequel to High Noon and portraying U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers in a 1976 biopic. Majors would continue to act in the decades to come, memorably appearing in Big Fat Liar and on The Game. For several years, Lee Majors was married to actress Farrah Fawcett.
Doug Barr (Actor) .. Howie Munson
Born: May 01, 1949
Heather Thomas (Actor) .. Jody Banks
Born: September 08, 1957
Birthplace: Greenwich, Connecticut
Trivia: Lead actress, onscreen from Zapped! (1982).
Jo Ann Pflug (Actor) .. Samantha 'Big Jack' Jack
Born: May 02, 1940
Birthplace: Atlanta, Georgia
Trivia: After her eye-catching debut as Nurse Dish in the 1970 film version of MASH, American leading lady Jo Ann Pflug remained on call for sexy, come-hither roles. Pflug spent the bulk of her career on television, playing regular roles on Operation Petticoat (1978-79, as Lieutenant Katherine O'Hara) and The Fall Guy (1981-82 as "Big Jack"). She also played Nora Charles in an abortive mid-1970s attempt to revive The Thin Man as a weekly series. While starring as Taylor von Platen on the syndicated soap opera Rituals (1984), Jo Ann Pflug became a born-again Christian; rebelling against the prurient content of Rituals, Pflug quit the program, thereafter devoting herself to religious radio and television projects.
Monte Markham (Actor) .. Ryker
Born: June 21, 1935
Birthplace: Manatee County, Florida
Trivia: Whenever Monte Markham guest-stars on a TV whodunit these days, chances are it was Markham who "done it." Long before he became everybody's favorite mystery killer, however, Markham was a likeable leading man in the Jimmy Stewart mode. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Markham started out as a stage actor. In 1967, he landed the starring role in his first-ever TV series, playing the dual role of a "quick-frozen" 99-year-old man and his 33-year-old grandson on The Second Hundred Years. Two years later, he essayed the Gary Cooper role in the weekly TV version of Mr. Deeds Goes to Town. And in 1973, he played the title character in the ill-advised New Perry Mason. That same year, Markham made his Broadway debut in Irene, winning a Theatre World Award for his performance. In the 1980s, he played Clint Ogden in the prime-time serial Dallas (1981) and Carter Robinson in the syndicated soap opera Rituals (1984); he also briefly hosted the daily informational series Breakaway (1984). Contemporary TV viewers know Markham as Captain Don Thorpe in Baywatch and Mr. Parker in Melrose Place. In addition to his extensive acting credits, Monte Markham has directed two feature films, Defense Play (1988) and Neon City (1992).
Erin Gray (Actor) .. Bonnie Carlson
Born: January 07, 1950
Birthplace: Honolulu, Hawaii, United States
Trivia: Lead actress Erin Gray first appeared onscreen in the late '70s.
Ken Swofford (Actor) .. Bradshaw
Born: July 25, 1933
Died: November 01, 2018
Birthplace: DuQuoin - Illinois - United States
Trivia: Red-headed, ruddy-faced American supporting actor Ken Swofford made his movie debut in 1964's Father Goose. Swofford hit his peak on television in the 1970s and 1980s, playing explosive, loudmouthed, stuffy types. He was brilliant as Winchell-like columnist Frank Flannagan in the weekly 1975 version of Ellery Queen, then went on to essay subtler variations of this character in Switch (1975-78) and The Eddie Capra Mysteries (1978-79). He was one of the singular delights of the syndicated version of Fame (1983-87), as the kids' perennial nemesis, vice-principal Morloch. Off camera, the affable Swofford got along famously with his young Fame co-stars, and was one of the series' biggest boosters on the promotional-tour circuit. More recently, Ken Swofford was seen in the recurring role of Lt. Capalano in Murder She Wrote (1984-96).
William Smith (Actor) .. Salem
Born: March 24, 1933
Birthplace: Columbia, Missouri
Bennett Ohta (Actor) .. Lt. Fong
Tony Young (Actor) .. Dunning
Born: June 28, 1937
Died: February 26, 2002
Trivia: The son of character actor Carleton G. Young, Tony Young was born in New York and raised in Hollywood. A handsome, athletic teenager, Young was offered a few film roles in the early '50s, but his father insisted that he get an education before launching a career. After stints with the Air Force and Los Angeles City College, the 6'3," 195-pound Young found showbiz work of sorts as an NBC page. Making all the right connections, he began landing TV roles in 1959. Two years later, he starred as U.S. Cavalry undercover agent Cord in the weekly TV Western Gunslinger. Tony Young remained typecast in Westerns ever afterward, essaying fast-draw roles in such films as Taggart (1963) and Charro (1969). The Tony Young listed in the credits of 1985's A Chorus Line is a different performer.
