Jonathan Lippe (Actor) .. Graham
Born: September 26, 1938
Trivia: American actor Jonathan Lippe played supporting roles on stage, screen and especially television. In 1975, he began appearing as Jonathan Goldsmith, his real name. His son David Goldsmith is also an actor.
Robert Webber (Actor) .. Cooper
Born: October 14, 1924
Died: May 19, 1989
Birthplace: Santa Ana, California
Trivia: Though born in close proximity to Hollywood, Robert Webber chose to head East to launch his acting career shortly after World War II. On Broadway from 1948, Webber made his film bow in 1950's Highway 501, playing the first of many villains. His career moved in fits and starts until he was cast by director Sidney Lumet as Juror Number 12 in the 1957 filmization of Twelve Angry Men. Webber flourished in the 1960s, mostly playing outwardly charming but inwardly vicious types; who could forget his torturing of Julie Harris in Harper (1966), grinning all the while and saying lines like "I just adore inflicting pain"? A personal favorite of director Blake Edwards, Webber was given roles of a more comic nature in such Edwards films as Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978), 10 (1969), and S.O.B (1981). One of Robert Webber's better later roles was as the father of erstwhile private eye Maddie Ross (Cybill Shepherd) on the cult-favorite TV series Moonlighting.
Lee H. Montgomery (Actor) .. Jeff
Trivia: Lead actor, former juvenile, onscreen from 1972.
Davey Davison (Actor) .. Jean
Born: May 19, 1943
Darrell Fetty (Actor) .. Jake Traynor
Anthony Geary (Actor) .. Joe Markham
Born: May 29, 1947
Birthplace: Coalville, Utah, United States
Trivia: University of Utah alumnus Anthony Geary was in soap operas almost from his matriculation into professional acting. His first TV role was on the long-forgotten ABC daytime drama Bright Promise in 1969; he also made his film bow that year, in the equally obscure Blood Sabbath. Not quite dashing enough for leading-man roles, Geary settled early on for character roles, ranging from fey (he was mistaken for a homosexual by Archie Bunker on a 1971 All in the Family episode) to ferocious. When cast as Luke Spencer on General Hospital in 1978, Geary was at first going through his standard villainous paces, sexually assaulting the married Laura Baldwyn (Genie Francis). Audience response to Luke, however, was astonishingly positive, and soon the antiheroic Mr. Spencer was a good guy (albeit with shady underworld connections), eventually making daytime TV ratings history when he married Laura in November of 1981. Geary ended up winning a 1982 Emmy for his fascinating performance as Luke. He left General Hospital in 1984 to pursue other career vistas; he headlined his own nightclub act, the "Smut Queens," and also starred in theatrical productions (in his pre-Luke years, Geary performed with the touring company of Jesus Christ Superstar). His plans for film stardom dwindled to silly supporting parts in sillier films, notably Disorderlies (1988) and UHF (1989). Geary returned to General Hospital in 1990 -- not as Luke, but as Luke's cousin Bill Eckert (complete with Italian-Teutonic accent). Anthony Geary at last resigned himself to reviving the Luke Spencer character, beginning with General Hospital's 1993-94 season.
Mary Murphy (Actor) .. Paula Cooper
Born: January 26, 1931
Died: May 04, 2011
Trivia: Actress Mary Murphy's film career always seemed to be starting but never really progressing. In Hollywood from 1949, Murphy first gained critical attention for her performance opposite Marlon Brando in The Wild One (1954), but before the year was out she was going through the motions of a traditional ingénue in the Vincent Price shocker The Mad Magician (1954). The following year she was again showered with praise for her portrayal of Fredric March's daughter in The Desperate Hours (1955); once more, however, this personal triumph was followed by forgettable roles in the likes of The Maverick Queen (1956) and Live Fast Die Young (1958). At one point, she absented herself from the screen for seven years, returning only when a good part finally surfaced in Junior Bonner (1972). In 1961, Mary Murphy was a regular on the brief TV series The Investigators.
Vince Howard (Actor) .. Charlie Johnson
Born: September 20, 1936
Todd Martin (Actor) .. Lou Damico
Born: February 11, 1927
William H. Bassett (Actor) .. Donald Bateman
Born: December 28, 1935
Owen Bush (Actor) .. Sam Gillis
Born: November 10, 1921
Allan Price (Actor) .. Rick Thompson
Karen Arthur (Actor) .. Margaret Bateman
Born: August 24, 1941
Trivia: Upon arriving in Hollywood in the 1960s, Omaha-born actress Karen Jensen discovered that there was already a Karen Jensen active in films and TV. Thus it was that Nebraska's Ms. Jensen became Karen Arthur. Under this new billing, she appeared in such films as Guide for the Married Man (1967) and Paul Newman's Winning (1969). Shifting her activities to the other side of the camera, Karen Arthur produced and directed the 1972 incest drama My Sister, My Love (originally released as The Mafu Cage), and later became one of the regular directors on TV's Cagney and Lacey, winning an Emmy for the tense 1984 episode "Heat."
John Yates (Actor) .. Jim Mallory
Joseph Miksak (Actor) .. Miller
Born: April 16, 1913
Trivia: American actor Joseph Miksak played character roles on stage, radio, television, and occasionally in feature films. He also appeared in a few television commercials. In addition to acting, Miksak taught at San Francisco State University and is a speech pathologist. His son is opera singer Matthew Miksak.
Don Michaelian (Actor) .. Desk Sergeant
Born: July 08, 1922
