Trivia: An actor with handsome, everyman good looks and undeniable screen presence, Thomas Jane has turned up in everything from low-budget indies to sprawling, big-budget Hollywood action spectacles. Born January 29th, 1969, the Baltimore native's unusual entry into show business found him cast in a Romeo and Juliet-inspired Bollywood musical while still in high school. At just 17 years old, Jane was spotted by a pair of Indian producers looking to cast a young, fair-haired American to act as Romeo to a young Indian actress' Juliet. Alas, the lure of Bollywood weighed heavier than the prospect of another year in high school, so Jane soon dropped out to film Padamati Sandhya Ragam in Madras, India. When filming wrapped, he quickly returned stateside despite some tempting offers in India, and a year later, the struggling actor was making the move to Los Angeles. Finding work in L.A. didn't prove easy, but thanks to persistence and hard work, Jane eventually made his way into the local theater scene. Trivia: American actress Scout Taylor-Compton debuted as an ingenue, appearing on several television series in guest and recurring roles during the 1990s and 2000s, including Charmed, ER, and Gilmore Girls. She then segued into feature roles in the mid-2000s, with memorable contributions to the Jennifer Garner-headlined age-swap fantasy 13 Going on 30, and -- later that same year -- with the all-girl teen comedy Sleepover (2004). Taylor-Compton made her biggest splash, however, by essaying the role of Laurie Strode, perpetually stalked slasher victim (and sister of Michael Myers), in Rob Zombie's much-anticipated horror remake Halloween (2007); the actress inherited the role, of course, from former scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis. Taylor-Compton also made headlines in August 2005 when officially declared "missing" from her family's Apple Valley, CA, home. She was recovered a short time later.

Trivia: Born December 15th, 1972, Stuart Townsend would grow up to possess the kind of dark, coolly seductive looks that lend themselves to playing either ladies' men or raving psychos, {Townsend is one of the more compelling actors to have emerged from Ireland during the 1990s. A native of Dublin, Townsend was born to pro golfer Peter Townsend and Lorna Townsend, a well-known former model who died in 1994. He first became interested in performing through his then-girlfriend, who was studying at the Gaiety School of Acting. Townsend also enrolled at the school and made his stage debut in the school's production of Tear Up the Black Sail. He made his professional stage debut in John Crowley's True Lines. In 1996, Townsend broke onto the screen with his role in Gillies MacKinnon's Trojan Eddie. Portraying a seductive young man who steals away a bride from her groom on their wedding day, Townsend was afforded the opportunity to work with the legendary Richard Harris. His exposure in the film led to his first starring role, in Shooting Fish (1997), a successful comedy which cast him as a sweet-natured con man. That same year, Townsend had a supporting role in Carine Adler's acclaimed drama Under the Skin, engaging in emotional dysfunction and phone sex with the film's heroine. He also made a terrifying impression in the Irish crime thriller Resurrection Man, playing a psychotic killer. Trivia: Fair-haired actress Victoria Pratt was set on quite a different career path before becoming interested in acting. She attended York University in Toronto, where she earned a degree in kinesiology, and she went on to work in the University's Human Performance Lab, testing athletes from teams like the Toronto Maple Leafs and the San Jose Sharks. She was even offered a scholarship for the physiotherapy master's program at the University of Toronto, but so she turned it down. She co-authored a book on fitness with one of her university professors, and worked as a professional fitness model, which is how she met Robert Kennedy, the publisher of MuscleMag. He suggested that Pratt enroll in acting classes, and soon after taking his advice, the model-turned-actress scored a role on the sci-fi series Cleopatra 2525 as Rose, otherwise known as "Sarge." She stuck with science fiction, later scoring roles on the series Mutant X and Day Break, and the female lead, opposite Rick Schroder, in the TV adaptation Journey to the Center of the Earth in 2008.

Trivia: After the success of his single "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing" in 1996, country singer and songwriter Tracy "Trace" Darrell Adkins went on to produce a number of successful studio albums and a greatest hits compilation throughout the late '90s and 2000s; all but one of them reached gold or higher status. Adkins has also lent his voice to several commercials for fast-food giant KFC, and appeared on the long-running game show The Hollywood Squares. In 2008, Adkins put his business prowess to the test by agreeing to appear as a contestant on NBC's celebrity edition of The Apprentice. He went on to act in projects such as An American Carol, Lifted, The Lincoln Lawyer and A Country Christmas.
