Salaar

About this Broadcast

Determined to honor his dying friend's wishes, gangster Salaar sets out to destroy all the other gangs and take over all organized crime in the area. But this goal of vengeance will be challenging, as Salaar will have to fight through armies of men loyal to the other crime bosses. He will have to use all his fighting prowess and a few extra tricks if he's ever going to avenge his friend and take over.

Trivia: Made his acting debut in with Simha Swapnam (1989), but failed to make his mark on the industry. Gaayam (1993) earned him his first Nandi Award as well as the much-needed fame. T. Subbarama Reddy Lalitha Kala Parishat (TSR-LKP) conferred on him the title of Lalitha Kala Bhushan in 2011. Won the Filmfare (South) Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in the film Legend (2014).

Cast his old friend Amitabh Bachchan in four of his films, whom he first met in 1968.
