Tamara Dobson (Actor) .. Cleopatra Jones
Born: January 01, 1947
Died: October 02, 2006
Trivia: Standing 6'2", sleek and sexy actress Tamara Dobson is best remembered by fans of blaxploitation films for playing no-nonsense narcotics agent Cleopatra Jones, a mistress of the martial arts who drove a bad ass black Corvette in Cleopatra Jones (1973) and Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold (1975). Before entering films, Dobson was a model. Though at the time, she generated a lot of press attention and developed a substantial cult following (most fans were male), her career was basically over when the genre's popularity played out by the late '70s. Dobson showed up again in films in the 1983 women-in-prison film Chained Heat which starred Linda Blair. In 1984, Dobson appeared in the made-for-television adventure Amazons.
Stella Stevens (Actor) .. Dragon Lady
Born: October 01, 1936
Died: February 17, 2023
Birthplace: Yazoo City, Mississippi, United States
Trivia: Mississippi-born Stella Stevens was a wife, mother, and divorcée before she was 17. While studying medicine at Memphis State College, Stevens became interested in acting and modeling. The notoriety of her nude spread in Playboy magazine was quickly offset by the public's realization that she had genuine talent, particularly in the comedy field. Stevens' many delightful comic characterizations include Apassionata von Climax in the movie version of Li'l Abner (1959), Glenn Ford's drum-playing girlfriend in Courtship of Eddie's Father (1963), and the klutzy heroine in the Matt Helm opus The Silencers (1966). She also showed up in a brace of 1960s cult favorites: Elvis Presley's Girls! Girls! Girls! (1962) and Jerry Lewis' Nutty Professor (1963), her presence in the latter film was celebrated by Lewis' utilization of the Victor Young musical piece "Stella by Starlight." Despite consistently good work, Stevens never achieved the full stardom that she deserved: When she posed again for Playboy in 1968, she admitted that it was purely to get people to attend her films. Stevens worked steadily on television since the late '50s, appearing regularly on the Flamingo Road series from 1981 to 1982. She switched to the other side of cameras in the 1980s, producing the documentary The American Heroine and directing the inexpensive Canadian feature The Ranch (1989). Stella Stevens is the mother of actor Andrew Stevens, and was very briefly the mother-in-law of actress Kate Jackson.
Tanny (Actor) .. Mi Ling
Norman Fell (Actor) .. Stanley
Born: May 24, 1924
Died: December 14, 1998
Birthplace: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
Trivia: A prolific character player whose lived-in face was his fortune, Norman Fell attended Temple University, served in World War II, then took acting lessons at the American Academy of Dramatic Art and the Actors' Studio. Fell entered films in 1959, playing such peripheral roles as the radio technician in Inherit the Wind (1960) until achieving a measure of fame as a detective named Meyer Meyer on TV's 87th Precinct (1961). His meatier film assignments included the role of Mr. McCleery in The Graduate (1967) and a pushy American tourist in If It's Tuesday, It Must Be Belgium (1969). In 1966, Fell was cast as the second lead in the pilot for the Girl From UNCLE series, but "skewed old" and was replaced by Noel Harrison. Fell finally achieved TV stardom as the sex-obsessed landlord Mr. Roper in the popular 1970s sitcom Three's Company, which resulted in a spin-off vehicle for Fell titled The Ropers (both series were based on British TV originals; the English equivalent of The Ropers was George and Mildred). A later video vehicle for Fell, 1982's Teachers Only, was less successful. Norman Fell made his final film appearance in the independent feature The Destiny of Marty Fine (1996).

Trivia: Turkish actress Magali Noel began appearing in European films in 1952. Among her more prestigious 1950's credits were Dassin's Rififi (1955) and Renoir's Paris Does Strange Things (1957). She was also prominently featured in the films of Federico Fellini, most memorably La Dolce Vita (1961), Satyricon (1970), and Amarcord (1974), appearing in the latter as the "rite of passage" whore who'd been a recurring character in Fellini's best works. Magali Noel was still active in television well into the 1990s, appearing in the American cable-TV series The Ray Bradbury Theater, among other projects.
Janet Agren (Actor) .. Giulia
Born: January 01, 1950
Trivia: Scandinavian-born supporting actress of Italian and international films, onscreen from 1969.
