The son of a musician, Bakula is said to have started his own rock band when he was in the fourth grade. He also sang with the St. Louis Symphony before attending the University of Kansas. Bakula launched his acting career as a teen in regional theater and as a stage actor specializes in musical comedy. He made his Broadway debut in 1983 in Marilyn: An American Fable. Trivia: A San Diego native, Jolene Blalock left home at the age of 17 to pursue a career in modeling. Traveling through Europe and Asia, the fledgling but confident model unsurprisingly found frequent work on the runways and in print. It was on a 1998 trip back to the States that Blalock was compelled to flex her heretofore untested acting skills, and after a few commercial appearances and some skill-sharpening at Toronto's Second City Improv and the Dwight Bacquie Rehearsal Workshop, she made her acting debut on television's Veronica's Closet. Already comfortable in front of the camera, Blalock's magnetism shined through the lens and she was soon cast in the made-for-television movies Jason and the Argonauts (2000) and On the Edge (2001). After nearly passing on the role three times, Blalock read the script for Enterprise and made the decision to join the crew on their missions into the stars. Set before the missions of Captain Kirk and the rest of the crew on the original Star Trek, Enterprise tells the tales of a newly commissioned spaceship's maiden voyages into the depths of space. Trivia: Though he is best remembered for the humanity he brought to the title character of Robocop (1987), actor Peter Weller is a versatile actor who has played in a wide variety of films as both lead and supporting actor. Prior to coming to films, Weller had a distinguished theatrical career. Before that he studied with famed acting coach Uta Hagen. He made his screen debut as a determined lawman in Butch and Sundance: The Early Years (1979). He played romantic leads in his next two films before starring in W.D. Richter's 1984 cult favorite The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. His role in this sci-fi satire eventually lead to Robocop, where he was chosen by the director for his "expressive lips." The film was quite successful, and Weller went on to play in a series of minor thrillers and one sequel to Robocop before playing an aspiring writer whacked out on drugs in David Cronenberg's disturbing noir fantasy Naked Lunch (1991). As bizarre as the film was, it gave Weller an opportunity to stretch and show his ability as a serious dramatic actor. Though the film was not a commercial success, he did garner much critical praise for his role.

Trivia: Harry Groener is known to many viewers as the mayor of Sunnydale on the cult-hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but some of the actor's biggest accomplishments have been on the stage. Trivia: Perhaps one of the small screen's most prolific and cordial hosts, Emmy award-winning television personality Tom Bergeron initially rose to fame as the host of Hollywood Squares before holding a humorous mirror to the masses on America's Funniest Home Videos and observing the fancy footwork of our favorite celebrities on Dancing with the Stars. Haverhill, MA, native Bergeron was an ambitious broadcaster from the onset, becoming the youngest DJ ever to appear on his hometown radio station WHAV at the age of 17. Of course, it didn't take long for Bergeron to work his way up the radio ladder, and after launching a successful late-night talk show on a local New Hampshire station, he segued into television as the host of WBZ Boston's Emmy-winning magazine series Super Kids. A series of hosting gigs were quick to follow, culminating in a six-year stint on the station's popular morning show People Are Talking beginning in 1987. Three years later, Bergeron returned to the microphone to host WBZ-AM's most popular morning radio show as well.Bergeron's big break finally came in 1995, when Breakfast Time, the FX series he had been hosting for two years, made the leap to Fox.
