Trivia: The epitome of the word "statuesque," brunette, big blue-eyed, and 6' tall Lynda Carter was once considered one of the most beautiful women in the western world. Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, Carter's height caused considerable awkwardness in high school. Friends encouraged her to become a performer; she began studying voice and by the time she graduated, she was named her school's most talented student. She briefly attended Arizona State University, but dropped out to become a professional singer and tour the country with several rock groups. By 1972, Carter had returned home and entered a local beauty pageant. She won and went on to win the title of Miss World-USA. After that, Carter studied acting in New York. She started her career in television making guest appearances on such shows as Starsky and Hutch, but Carter did not become famous until winning the title role of Wonder Woman in 1975. The Wonder Woman shows originally started out as specials on the ABC network, but by 1976 had been turned into a series. The network canceled the show after one season and it was picked up by CBS and aired there for a few years. When the series ended, she had a somewhat successful career as a Las Vegas entertainer. She also continues to occasionally appear in television movies and as a series guest star.

Trivia: Tall, dark-haired, and ruggedly handsome, Lyle Waggoner is best known for being the announcer and later a regular skit player on The Carol Burnett Show from 1967 to 1974. Waggoner then went on to play Steve Trevor in The New Adventures of Wonder Woman (1975). Prior to his television work, Waggoner made his feature film debut with a bit part in Women of the Prehistoric Planet (1966). With looks to spare, he good-naturedly posed in the altogether for Playgirl magazine in the mid-'70s. After Wonder Woman was canceled, Waggoner only occasionally appeared in television movies and even less frequently in feature films.

Trivia: American actor Victor Argo was principally a stage performer, both in New York and in regional repertory, when he tentatively began his film work in the 1970s. Early Argo movie credits include 1972's Boxcar Bertha and the 1975 Martin Scorsese production Mean Streets. In the late 1980s, Argo enjoyed a burst of movie activity, though thanks to location shooting he didn't have to leave Manhattan too often. The actor was seen as Roy Bishop in King of New York (1987), Avram in Her Alibi (1989), a cop in New York Stories (1989). Woody Allen utilized Argo in two films, Crimes and Misdemeanors (1988) (as a detective) and Shadows and Fog (1990). Rare non-New York film productions featuring Victor Argo have included McBain (1988), in which he played "El Presidente," and the controversial Last Temptation of Christ (1988) in which Argo portrayed Peter Apostle. Trivia: Known to legions of obsessed fans for writing, directing, and playing hunchbacked butler Riff Raff in the legendary cult movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show, British-born Richard O'Brien grew up in New Zealand. His father, an accountant, decided to switch career paths and become a sheep farmer when O'Brien was just nine, possibly planting in the young tyke the idea to make a movie about square people shaking off the strictures of modern life.He became interested in science fiction movies and rock & roll at a young age, and in 1964, he moved back to England to pursue a singing and acting career. Working in the theater, he met director Jim Sharman while appearing in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar. He would come to work with Sharman on his own musical, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which opened on-stage in 1973. By 1975, O'Brien was adapting the play for the screen, unknowingly creating a massive cultural phenomenon.The film went on to become perhaps the most quintessential cult hit, and O'Brien's legacy was sealed. Nonetheless, he continued to work constantly, appearing in everything from Spice World to Dungeons & Dragons, as well as writing and recording his own music.
