Martin Shaw (Actor) .. George Gently

Trivia: British lead actor, onscreen from the '70s.
Lee Ingleby (Actor)
Born: January 28, 1976
Birthplace: Burnley, Lancashire, England
Trivia: Known for his film, TV and stage work. Went to the same high school as John Simm (though Simm is several years older) and played his father in the final episode of Life on Mars. Appeared in London's West End as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2001. Wrote and starred in short film Cracks In The Ceiling in 2002. Known for his role as Detective Sergeant John Bacchus, later promoted to Inspector, in the BBC drama Inspector George Gently. In 2016, played the role of Paul Hughes, the father of an autistic son, Joe, in the BBC drama The A Word. Voiced the part of Phillip De Nicholay, Sheriff of Nottingham in Hood: Noble Secrets in 2013 on BBC Radio 4.
Roger Lloyd Pack (Actor)
Born: February 08, 1944
Birthplace: Islington, London
Trivia: British actor Roger Lloyd-Pack is adventuresome. One day, he might be acting in a Shakespeare production (A Midsummer Night's Dream, for example) and the next day in a Tony Dow (of Leave It to Beaver fame) production (U.F.O., for example). In between, Lloyd-Pack might do a little Dickens (Oliver Twist), Fielding (Tom Jones), and Kafka (The Trial), with enough time left over for a quick trip to Transylvania (Interview With the Vampire). Although trained in the classical tradition at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the Royal Shakespeare Company, Lloyd-Pack is as likely to perform works from the new guard as well as the old guard. On occasion, he even acts in experimental adaptations of traditional works. For example, he starred as Prospero in a Shakespeare production of The Tempest -- renamed The Caribbean Tempest -- featuring bongo drums, acrobats, stilt-walkers, and fire-eaters. Lloyd-Pack, who was born in London on February 8, 1944, also performs under two unhyphenated versions of his name: Roger Lloyd Pack and Owen Lloyd Pack. He has been acting in film and television roles since the 1960s, including such well-known productions as Hamlet, Fiddler on the Roof, Nineteen Eighty-Four, Longitude, and the award-winning Yasmina Reza play Art. He is probably best known to British audiences for his role as Trigger in the TV series Only Fools and Horses. His daughter, Emily Lloyd, also acts professionally. His wife is the poet and dramatist Jehane Markham.
Geraldine Somerville (Actor)
Born: May 19, 1967
Birthplace: Meath, Republic of Ireland
Trivia: Her grandfather was a Member of Parliament and was awarded a hereditary baronetcy; her father and mother were both titled. At age 8, boarded at the Arts Educational School in Tring Park to do ballet, drama and music; originally wanted to be a ballet dancer but soon realised she was better at acting. Her breakout role was as DS Jane Penhaligon in Cracker from 1993 to 1995; her co-star Robbie Coltrane's funny stories often made her corpse during filming. In 2003, played Henriette d'Angleterre in Lindsay Posner's staging of Power at the National Theatre, London. Was offered the role of Lily Potter in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone after JK Rowling turned it down; went on to appear in every film of the franchise.
Christopher Fairbank (Actor)
Born: October 04, 1953
Birthplace: Hertfordshire, England
Trivia: Almost didn't get accepted into RADA because of a skin condition on his face. One of the main reasons he was hired for the 1983 British series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet was because he could do a Liverpool accent, which he had learned while living in a city hostel for two years as a teen. Lent his voice to the Wallace and Gromit features Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) and Flushed Away (2006). Other voiceover work includes radio, TV commercials, documentaries, cartoons and looping. Played John Lennon's father, Freddie, in the 2010 biopic Lennon Naked.
Jim Norton (Actor)
Born: January 04, 1938
Birthplace: Dublin, Ireland
Trivia: Took drama and elocution lessons as a child. Got his start in show business as a 10-year-old soprano on an Irish radio show. His father opened one of the first delicatessens in Dublin. Early in his career he was afraid that he would be typecast in Irish parts and for a long time refused to take them. Starred on Broadway as Finian in a 2009 revival of Finian's Rainbow. Has done the readings for audio books of James Joyce's Ulysses, The Dubliners, Finnegan's Wake and A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. Has been in several productions of playwright Conor McPherson works, including The Weir, a role the author specifically wrote for Norton, and The Seafarer, for which he won a Tony in 2008 for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play. Sister started the Betty Ann Norton Theatre School in Dublin.
