Known for his role as Detective Sergeant John Bacchus, later promoted to Inspector, in the BBC drama Inspector George Gently. Voiced the part of Phillip De Nicholay, Sheriff of Nottingham in Hood: Noble Secrets in 2013 on BBC Radio 4.
