Jeff journeys to the majestic Prince William Sound in Alaska where he joins a team of biologists working to unravel the mysteries of the giant Pacific octopus. Jeff works with Kelley Voss in her research to study the social behavior of this cephalopod species and joins Professor David Scheel and his students as they conduct surveys along the beach during the low tide. Jeff then dives into the icy cold waters to explore their habitat and has a close encounter with one of these creatures.
