Chyler Leigh (Actor) .. Sloan Van Doren
Born: April 10, 1982
Birthplace: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Trivia: Born Chyler Leigh Potts in Charlotte, NC, in 1982, the future actress and her family relocated to Virginia Beach, VA, in 1984. After spending her early years at Trentwood Elementary and Great Neck Middle School, Leigh's parents divorced and Chyler and brother Christopher Khayman Lee relocated with their mother to Miami, FL, to begin a new life. It was in Miami that young Chyler decided to drop out of high school to pursue a career as an actress by training with acting coach Sharon Lane. It was under Lane Management that Leigh began landing frequent modeling and commercial work, appearing in television spots for Coca-Cola and Wendy's among others. Landing the job as co-host of the syndicated talk show Hall Pass (1996) proved the widest exposure to date for the burgeoning talent, and it wasn't long before Leigh would subsequently appear in such series as Kinetic City Cuper Crew and Safe Harbor. Also appearing in unaired pilots for Saving Graces and Wilder Days (and inadvertently cast as the teenage lover of real-life brother Christopher in the former), Chyler dropped Lane Management in favor of representation by The Gersh Agency before auditioning for her biggest feature role to date in Not Another Teen Movie. Though she secretly longed for the role of "The Pretty Ugly Girl," Leigh auditioned for the role of "The Perfect Girl" under the advise of her new management, and, to everyone's surprise, walked out of the audition with the role of "The Pretty Ugly Girl" secured. As the years wore on, Leigh would continue to find success, especially on the small screen, starring on shows like The Practice, Reunion, and Grey's Anatomy.
Paul Campbell (Actor) .. Jake Dooley
Born: June 22, 1979
Birthplace: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Trivia: After a start that seemed to pigeonhole him on television, with supporting turns in science fiction-oriented longform projects such as Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda and the telemovie Battlestar Galactica, Paul Campbell expanded the scope and breadth of his ambitions. Subsequent projects included director Pat Holden's outrageous, no-holds-barred sex comedy The Long Weekend (2004), director Carl Bessai's gruesome natural horror outing Severed (2005), and the direct-to-video comedy National Lampoon's Bag Boy (2007). Campbell took on a small supporting role in The Fighter, a 2010 sports drama starring Mark Wahlberg, and appeared in The Big Year (2011), a comedy following a quirky group of bird-watchers.He is not to be confused with the Jamaican actor of the same name, who emerged at about the same time.
Naomi Judd (Actor) .. Rita
Born: January 11, 1946
Died: April 30, 2022
Birthplace: Ashland, Kentucky, United States
Trivia: Gave birth to her first daughter, Wynonna, the week of her high-school graduation. Worked as a nurse before starting her career in entertainment. After divorcing her first husband, she moved her family from Los Angeles to Kentucky because "the kids were starting to think Hollywood was normal." In 1983, took daughter Wynonna to a live audition for the RCA Nashville record executives, who signed them to a record deal within an hour. Along with daughter Wynonna, became the first female country act to found their own booking agency. Took a hiatus from performing professionally in 1991 after being diagnosed with hepatitis C and founded the Naomi Judd Research Fund. In 2000, she told Larry King that she was cured. In April 2011, said of daughter Ashley Judd's memoir, All That Is Bitter & Sweet, that she would one day get around to reading it since she wanted to "honor her [daughter's] reality." Has authored more than 10 books on such topics as cooking, aging and her struggles with hepatitis C.
Cameron Mathison (Actor) .. Kenneth
Born: August 25, 1969
Birthplace: Sarnia, Ontario, Canada
Trivia: Virtually a household name among aficionados of daytime soap operas, actor Cameron Mathison jetted to fame via his portrayal of Ryan Lavery on All My Children. The role actually represented Mathison's first significant break when he signed for it in early 1989; he subsequently left the series but returned (and thus extended the portrayal) in 2003. In addition to multi-season hosting duties on the SoapNet channel's reality program I Wanna Be a Soap Star and guest appearances on such prime-time series as CSI, The Drew Carey Show, and JAG, Mathison gave his recognition an added boost when he signed with ABC as one of the celebrity dancers on the fifth season of its reality program Dancing with the Stars. On that show, Mathison performed opposite professionally trained dancer Edyta Sliwinska.
