July 13, 1963
Birthplace: New Haven, Connecticut, United States
Trivia:
A handsome performer with a clean-cut image yet the ability to project heightened aggression, Kenny Johnson specialized in portrayals of authoritative professional types, such as state troopers, police detectives, and macho athletes. The East Coast native grew up on a farm in Vermont, and as a young man formally trained in drama under the tutelage of acting coaches Vincent Chase and Larry Moss. Following a brief start in show business as a TV commercial spokesperson, Johnson moved into narrative work, and spent much of the 1990s turning up as a guest star on programs including Caroline in the City, Grace Under Fire and Arli$$, in addition to theatrical releases such as the 1998 issues Major League: Back to the Minors and Blade. Johnson scored his most significant break, however, with an ongoing role on the popular FX police drama The Shield: that of Detective Curtis "Lemonhead" Lemansky. Beginning in 2007, Johnson signed for a regular supporting role on the TNT drama series Saving Grace; he played Ham Dewey, Detective Grace Hanadarko's (Holly Hunter) on-the-job partner and occasional lover.

Andrew Adamson
(Actor)
Born:
December 01, 1966
Trivia:
A director born in New Zealand as the child of Methodist missionary parents, Andrew Adamson came to specialize almost exclusively in fantasy-themed material. He began his career as a special-effects technician on films including Toys (1992), A Time to Kill (1996), and Batman & Robin (1997), but moved into the ranks of Hollywood's elite with his work directing the breakthrough DreamWorks CG-animated comedy Shrek (2001). That film clocked in as a blockbuster hit (to say the least -- grossing a reported 484 million dollars worldwide) and paved the way for several sequels, with the first two also directed by Adamson. Then, beginning in 2004, Walden Media tapped Adamson to write, direct, and executive produce the first two adaptations of the Chronicles of Narnia books by British author C.S. Lewis: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2007). Audiences turned the franchise into a massive hit and a cash cow for Walden and Walt Disney Pictures, which laid the groundwork for many successive installments. Adamson remained on board as a producer for the third film in the series, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010).
Michael Trucco
(Actor)
.. Eric Wells
Born:
June 27, 1970
Birthplace: San Mateo, California, United States
Trivia:
Born in San Mateo, CA, barrel-chested American supporting actor Michael Trucco opted for the most unlikely and circuitous route into show business: he began his studies as a criminal justice major at the University of Santa Clara -- with plans to model his own career after that of his law officer father -- and discovered theater by accident, first via a drama course for non-majors, then by switching his major to dramatic arts at the behest of a drama teacher and his own parents. Numerous minor roles in theatrical productions followed; Trucco's turn in a Los Angeles-area production of the Aaron Sorkin play A Few Good Men solicited the attentions of an agent, who signed the aspiring actor and secured bit parts for him in many films and television programs. These included single-episode contributions to CSI, Arli$$, and Charmed; a supporting role in the sex comedy What Boys Like; and recurring roles on One Tree Hill, as Cooper Lee, and on the popular sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica, as Sam Anders. Trucco could then be seen in the Nicolas Cage vehicle Next in summer 2007.

Sherilyn Fenn
(Actor)
.. Karen Street
Born:
February 01, 1965
Birthplace: Detroit, Michigan, United States
Trivia:
Actress Sherilyn Fenn had her first taste of show business while touring the country with her mother, a rock musician. Fresh out of high school, Fenn decided to put her stunning physical attributes to good use as a Playboy bunny, but, alas, she failed to survive the first year of "bunny school." After posing for perfume and designer jean ads, Fenn made her film debut in The Wild Life (1984). She skyrocketed to fame in the early '90s as Audrey Horne in David Lynch's cult TV series Twin Peaks. (Her singular series highlight was the scene in which she tied a knot in a cherry stem with her tongue.) Fenn played a seductive wife in Gary Sinese's 1992 version of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, and the following year replaced a recalcitrant Kim Basinger in the role of a haughty beauty whose arms and legs are amputated by a love-obsessed surgeon in Boxing Helena, directed by David Lynch's daughter, Jennifer Lynch. The apex of Fenn's '90s roles, however, may well have been her take-no-prisoners 1995 TV performance as screen goddess Elizabeth Taylor.

In the early 2000s, she took on recurring roles on the popular dramas Six Feet Under, Soul Food, and The Shield, the latter of which cast her in the memorable part of Detective Trish George. In 2005, Micheaux played the supporting role of Phoebe Watson in the Oprah Winfrey-produced Zora Neale Hurston made-for-television adaptation Their Eyes Were Watching God. The next year, Micheaux landed one of the lead roles on the series drama Lincoln Heights, playing Jenn Sutton, the matriarch of a middle-class African-American family.
