Mandy Moore (Actor)
Born: April 10, 1984
Birthplace: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States
Trivia: Although teen dance-pop sensation Mandy Moore may rank alongside Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera as one of the most popular female singers of her generation, her midriff-free image and genuine vocal talents have propelled her from the recording studio to movie sets in projects that are both family friendly and positive in nature.Born in Nashua, NH, and raised in Orlando, FL, Moore was inspired to pursue a career as a vocal artist after attending a stage performance of Oklahoma! and witnessing the entrancing effect the lead performer had on the audience. Honing her skills with singing lessons and countless bedroom performances of "The Wind Beneath My Wings," Moore took to musical theater and began regularly performing the National Anthem at local sporting events. It wasn't long before two producers who had heard her sing at a game asked if she would be interested in cutting a demo. Eagerly accepting the offer, the young songstress recorded her first album at 14, with film roles following close behind. Gaining confidence in front of the camera with her self-titled MTV show in addition to appearances on The Andy Dick Show and a children's video entitled Magic Al and the Mind Factory, Moore loaned her voice to the character of a Girl Bear Cub in Dr. Dolittle 2 before making her feature debut (much against type as she claims) as a mean cheerleader in The Princess Diaries (2001). Dying her blonde locks brunette for her first major role in A Walk to Remember (based on Nicholas Sparks' best-seller), Moore brought her comparatively chaste image to the screen in an innocent tale of young lovers from opposite sides of the spectrum. Low key and with a plot that leans toward Christian themes, Moore proved with her feature debut that her values come well before public image regardless of how un-chic they may color her in the public eye.Publicly admitting that she was gravitating towards a career in front of the camera since it was easier than singing, Moore continued her onscreen career with films like How to Deal, Because I Said So, License to Wed. In 2010, Moore provided the speaking and singing voice for Rapunzel in the Disney movie Tangled. She voiced the character across other mediums, too- she performed the song "I See The Light" from the film at the Oscars that year and made a guest appearance as Rapunzel on the Disney show Sofia the First in 2014. Moore stuck with the Disney family, voicing the lead character in the Disney animated show Sheriff Callie's Wild West. She also picked up a recurring role on the short-lived FOX series Red Band Society. In 2016, she headlined NBC's new series This Is Us.

Miya Cech (Actor)
Wallace Langham (Actor)
Born: March 11, 1965
Birthplace: Fort Worth, Texas, United States
Trivia: HBO enthusiasts will invariably remember character actor Wallace Langham for his winning multi-season portrayal of Phil, the conceited head writer of Larry Sanders' late-night talk show, on the Garry Shandling-headlined sitcom The Larry Sanders Show. Langham (who first received billing in projects as Wally Ward) grew up in Los Angeles; his parents divorced at an early age and his mother, Sunni, designed costumes for the musical variety series Donny and Marie. Langham was, by all accounts, drawn magnetically to showbusiness; he enrolled in acting classes, signed with an agent, and landed a string of television commercials beginning at age 16 (in 1981). After high school, Langham enrolled briefly in Cal State Northridge, but dropped out after snagging a bit part in John Hughes' teenage sci-fi comedy Weird Science (1985). Scattered appearances on such series as Murder, She Wrote and Star Trek: Voyager followed -- as well as the recurring role of Josh, smart-alecky assistant to lingerie proprietor Veronica on the Kirstie Alley sitcom Veronica's Closet. It was the Shandling turn, however, that put Langham on top of his game. He made occasional feature appearances in such pictures as the Nora Ephron comedy-fantasy Michael (1996) opposite John Travolta, the Eddie Murphy vehicle Daddy Day Care (2003), the ensemble comedy drama Little Miss Sunshine (2006), the award-winning The Social Network and 2012's Ruby Sparks but -- outside of Larry Sanders -- he is probably best known for his fine work on the series drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. On that program, Langham sustained a multi-season portrayal as lab technician David Hodges.
Bradley Whitford (Actor)
Born: October 10, 1959
Birthplace: Madison, Wisconsin, United States
Trivia: An actor whose well-scrubbed Midwestern good looks have served him well in a wide variety of roles, Bradley Whitford was born in Madison, WI, on October 10, 1959. Whitford developed an interest in acting while in high school, and after graduating in 1977, he attended Wesleyan University, where he majored in English and Theater. After completing his studies at Wesleyan, he went on to receive a master's degree in Theater from the Juilliard Theater Center, and began pursuing an acting career in New York. Whitford made his screen debut in 1985 in a low-budget thriller called Dead As a Doorman, but received a good bit more attention for a supporting role in a 1986 TV movie, C.A.T. Squad, directed by William Friedkin. In 1987, Whitford appeared in both the New York and Los Angeles productions of Sam Shepard's drama Curse of the Starving Class; while in L.A. with the play, Whitford was cast as Jack Ford in the TV movie The Betty Ford Story. After returning to New York, Whitford continued to alternate stage roles with film assignments, and by the early '90s was appearing in a steady stream of supporting roles in such films as Presumed Innocent, A Perfect World, and Philadelphia. However, Whitford soon began scoring more substantial roles on television, including a recurring role as Norman Gardner on the series NYPD Blue and a memorable turn as a distraught father-to-be on the Emmy-award winning "Love's Labor's Lost" episode of E.R. In 1999, Whitford's finally scored the role that made him famous when he was cast as Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman on the TV series The West Wing (created by Aaron Sorkin, whose play A Few Good Men had featured Whitford in its Broadway cast). Whitford's work on the series eventually earned him an Emmy Award in 2001; the same year, he was also recognized as part of the show's ensemble cast by the Screen Actor's Guild Awards (also honored with Whitford was John Spencer, who had appeared with him in the movie Presumed Innocent).Whitford appeared in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in 2005, as well as the critically acclaimed comedy drama Bottleshock in 2008. The actor enjoyed a resurgence in popularity in 2012 for his turn as a ruthless, yet oddly likable businessman in director Joss Whedon's popular horror comedy Cabin in the Woods.
Mark O'Brien (Actor)
Born: May 07, 1984
Wade Williams (Actor) .. The Captain
Born: December 24, 1961
Birthplace: Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States
Trivia: With his bald, burly, and threatening presence and "tough guy" appearance, character actor Wade Williams (sometimes billed as Wade Andrew Williams) built a substantial career for himself playing thugs and hoods, initially on American television series. Early series credits, which extend back into the late '90s, include guest-starring appearances on such programs as NYPD Blue, Profiler, and Night Man. In time, Williams extended himself into different genres -- he appeared on HBO's show-business satire The Larry Sanders Show, for instance, on Star Trek: Voyager (in the episode "One"), and in the big-screen Jim Belushi cop comedy K-911. Williams drew greatest attention, however, for his portrayal of psychopath Capt. Brian Bellick, one of the administrators of the penitentiary on the Fox serialized drama Prison Break. Williams reportedly expressed some reservations before taking the role, due to the depraved nature of the character. Wade Williams the actor is not to be confused with the director and producer Wade H. Williams III, known for his high output (and extensive rights ownership) of science fiction titles.
Golden Brooks (Actor)
Born: December 01, 1970
Trivia: The lithe and alluring African-American actress Golden Brooks began life in San Francisco in late 1970, and grew up in both the Bay Area and the City of Angels. As a young woman, she attended the University of California at Berkeley as a sociology major, later earning her master's degree from Sarah Lawrence College. Brooks first broke into films in the mid-'90s, with a small role in Spike Lee's phone sex-themed comedy drama Girl 6 (1996); the 2000 series Girlfriends, however, brought Brooks her first recognition in the American press. This rabidly popular sitcom -- which reeled in critical kudos and maintained a broad fan base -- constituted the pet project of Frasier star Kelsey Grammer and producer Mara Brock Akil. It told of four African-American female friends in the Los Angeles -- all white-collar women -- struggling to balance personal and professional demands. Brooks played an assistant at a legal firm and the only woman in the ensemble with a happy marriage and a growing family. After scattered roles in acclaimed features through the first several years of the new millennium, Brooks made the pivotal decision to join the cast of the Queen Latifah-starrer Beauty Shop, about the colorful proprietors and denizens of an Atlanta-based hair salon. The following year, she also starred in Sanaa Hamri's acclaimed dramedy Something New.
