Grew up in a subdivision called Christmas Village in the town of Santa Claus. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2008. Was the first NFL rookie to throw multiple touchdown passes in each of his first four games. Was an all-state football, basketball and baseball player in high school. Drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft. Started the Jay Cutler Foundation in 2007 to help at-risk youths. Selected to the Pro Bowl in 2008. Traded to the Chicago Bears in 2009 after a public feud with new Denver head coach Josh McDaniels.
