Michael Ealy (Actor) .. Dominic
Born: August 03, 1973
Birthplace: Silver Spring, Maryland, United States
Trivia: A native of Silver Spring, MD, suave and clean-cut actor Michael Ealy appeared on-camera from the late '90s. He began on the small screen, with guest appearances on network programs including Law & Order and ER, but scored his breakout role with a much-favored turn as Ricky Nash, a convict-in-the-running with several past charges against him, in the predominantly African American ensemble comedies Barbershop (2002) and Barbershop 2: Back in Business (2004). The billing in these projects was somewhat prescient: Ealy continued to take challenging and unique supporting roles and gradually worked his way up the Hollywood ladder, openly declaring himself in no hurry to become a top-billed star. Additional projects included the action sagas 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) and S.W.A.T. (2003) and the psychological thriller November (2003), but Ealy netted much greater acclaim -- and flexed some impressive dramatic muscle -- with his portrayal of Teacake in the Oprah Winfrey-produced telemovie Their Eyes Were Watching God (2005). He then landed the incredibly demanding and edgy lead role of Darwyn Al-Sayeed, a terrorist plotting an attack on the United States, in the Showtime original miniseries Sleeper Cell (2005). In 2008, Ealy starred opposite Will Smith and Rosario Dawson in the earnest suicide drama Seven Pounds, directed by Gabriele Muccino (The Pursuit of Happyness). Ealy took on a leading role as a Bishop hiding in a small Italian village that opposes the Nazi cause in Spike Lee's acclaimed war drama Miracle at St. Anna (2008), and co-starred with Julianna Margulies and Michael J. Fox in the CBS television series The Good Wife the following year. In 2010 he played a supporting role in the crime thriller Takers, and starred in the romantic comedy Think Like a Man in 2010.
Jerry Ferrara (Actor) .. Jeremy
Born: November 25, 1979
Birthplace: Brooklyn, New York, United States
Trivia: Inspired by a teacher to pursue a career in acting while studying theater in college. Made his professional acting debut in 2000 on an episode of The King of Queens. Has used the alias Zack Morris while staying at hotels because Saved by the Bell was his favorite TV show while growing up. Has considered himself less outgoing and less outspoken than Turtle, his character on Entourage. Was the best man at the 2006 Las Vegas wedding of his Entourage costar Kevin Dillon. Co-owner of the Los Angeles deli Fat Sal's, which opened in 2010. Hobbies include golfing and playing video games; is a self-described homebody who doesn't do a lot of clubbing. Is not an avid traveler because he doesn't enjoy flying. Is a huge sports fan who dreamed of being a sports analyst before turning to acting.
Meagan Good (Actor) .. Mya
Born: August 08, 1981
Birthplace: Panorama City, California, United States
Trivia: Meagan Good started acting onscreen in the late '90s, and has worked in a wide array of genres. Her first major film role was in Kasi Lemmons' gently observed, well-received ensemble drama Eve's Bayou (1997). Good followed it up with such projects as the romantic comedy Deliver Us From Eva (2002), the teen dance film You Got Served (2004), and the post-noir mystery Brick (2005). In 2007, Good signed for a supporting role in the Mike Myers comedy The Love Guru (2008). Though that film was an infamous turkey, she continued to find work in projects such as 35 & Ticking (which she co-produced), Jumping the Broom, and the sleeper box office hit Think Like a Man, as well as the drama The Obama Effect.
Regina Hall (Actor) .. Candace
Born: December 12, 1970
Birthplace: Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Trivia: Staking claim on her fame with her role in the comedy-horror spoof Scary Movie, Regina Hall has frequented the big screen in roles that far from betrayed her age. Born in 1971 in Washington, D.C., Hall earned a degree in journalism from N.Y.U. before embarking on a film career. In 1997, she began appearing in commercials at age 26, and then made the giant leap into movies. Her recurring role in Scary Movie and the sequel Scary Movie 2 exhibited the 30-year-old's ability to maintain her youthful appearance, as she portrayed the high-school-aged Brenda Meeks. Hall's first film role had come in 1999 with a small role in Malcolm D. Lee's drama The Best Man. The following year, she made several film appearances, including her starring role in Scary Movie. In addition, she played small parts in two films directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, the drama Love and Basketball, and the TV movie Disappearing Acts, featuring Sanaa Lathan and Wesley Snipes. In 2001, Hall's list of credits grew to include her first television role, as Corretta Lipp on the prime-time drama Ally McBeal, which was a recurring role for several episodes. Also that year, Scary Movie 2 was released, in addition to the Mandel Holland comedy The Other Brother, featuring Hall as Vicki. One year later, she starred in the action-drama Paid in Full, directed by Charles Stone III. She reprised her role as Brenda Meeks yet again for Scary Movie 3 (2003) and Scary Movie 4 (2006), and played a supporting role in the 2009 crime thriller Law Abiding Citizen. The following year she had some success for her supporting role in Neil LaBute's remake of Frank Oz's black comedy Death at a Funeral, in which she co-starred with Danny Glover, Peter Dinklage, and Martin Lawrence, among others. She co-starred with Kevin Hart and Michael Ealy in Think Like a Man (2012), which was adapted from Steve Harvey's non-fiction self-improvement book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.
Kevin Hart (Actor) .. Cedric
Born: July 06, 1979
Birthplace: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
Trivia: After cutting his teeth on the stand-up comedy circuit on the East Coast, comic Kevin Hart got his big break when he was cast in the Judd Apatow series Undeclared in 2000. The then 21 year old had grown up using his sense of humor to help his family cope with issues like his father's drug addiction and incarceration, and eventually learning to thrive in the stand-up scene helped give Hart the tenacity to make it on a national scale, both on stage and on screen. Hart would headline several successful national stand-up tours over the coming years, in addition to his successful movie career, which would find him appearing in a host of films like Soul Plane, Fool's Gold, The Five Year Engagement, This is the End. In 2014, he had a trio of hits, Ride Along, About Last Night and Think Like a Man Too. His success continued into the following years, headlining The Wedding Ringer and Get Hard in 2015, and Ride Along 2 and a stand-up film, What Now? in 2016.
Taraji P. Henson (Actor) .. Lauren
Born: September 11, 1970
Birthplace: Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Trivia: Washington, D.C., native Taraji P. Henson didn't always know that her smoldering charisma and beautiful face would make her a professional actress. On the contrary, she originally studied electrical engineering when she enrolled at North Carolina Agric & Tech. She later transferred to Howard University, where she attended classes while working as a secretary at the Pentagon, and as a singer and dancer aboard a cruise ship. She eventually changed her academic focus to theater and graduated in 1995. Henson's career began with appearances on Homicide: Life on the Street and ER, but it really took off when she was cast in a major supporting role in 2001's Baby Boy and 2004's Hustle & Flow, in which she also showcased her vocal talents, singing on the track "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" for the movie's soundtrack, which took home the Best Song Oscar that year. Henson later moved on to take major roles in Smokin' Aces and Talk to Me. Henson made the most of her work as the mother of the backward-aging man in David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and her performance garnered Best Supporting Actress nominations from both the Screen Actors Guild, and the Academy. She became an in-demand character actress after that success and appeared in a series of films including Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys, the remake of The Karate Kid, Date Night, and Larry Crowne. In 2012, she was part of the ensemble in the hit comedy Think Like a Man, and later reprised her role in the sequel, Think Like a Man Too. Henson returned to television on the CBS crime drama Person of Interest, playing an NYPD detective. Her character was dramatically killed off in the third season, with Henson claiming she wanted to focus on her film career. However, she quickly took a role on the FOX musical drama Empire, playing breakout character Cookie Lyon.

Jenifer Lewis (Actor) .. Loretta
Born: January 25, 1957
Birthplace: Kinloch, Missouri, United States
Trivia: Best known for playing unapologetically mature, assertive, and intelligent adult women, African-American supporting actress Jenifer Lewis originally launched her career as a vocalist, singing in a church choir in Kinloch, MO. Lewis' passion (and gift) for singing carried her to the Great White Way, where she appeared in a number of sell-out Broadway musicals -- including Ain't Misbehavin' and Dreamgirls. She subsequently migrated to the West Coast for a string of appearances in TV programs such as Roc, A Different World, Murphy Brown, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, Touched by an Angel, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and graduated to features in 1992. The films in which Lewis has appeared run the gamut of quality, from outstanding (What's Love Got to Do With It?, 1993) to satisfactory (Sister Act, 1992; The Preacher's Wife, 1996) to downright abominable (Frozen Assets, 1992); many, however, demonstrated her fine gifts. More recently, Lewis attained some much-deserved recognition (and ascended to higher than usual billing) with her multi-season portrayal of Lana Hawkins in the prime-time medical drama Strong Medicine (2000).
Romany Malco (Actor) .. Zeke
Born: November 18, 1968
Birthplace: Brooklyn, New York, United States
Trivia: The multi-talented Romany Malco's first break in the entertainment industry came when his rap group, College Boyz, had a hit song titled "Victim of the Ghetto." With the encouragement of the multi-faceted John Leguizamo, Malco tried his hand at acting. In a relatively short period of time, he scored a main role on Level 9, and landed the title role in the made-for-TV biopic Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story. He reached a much wider audience as Jay, one of the co-workers/friends of The 40-Year-Old Virgin. His supporting role as Conrad Shepard on Showtime's satirical sitcom Weeds earned him more strong notices. He continued working in comedy with a supporting turn in Baby Mama starring former Saturday Night Live anchorwomen Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. He would also continue to find success on the small screen, with shows like No Ordinary Family and The Good Wife.
Gary Owen (Actor) .. Bennett
Gabrielle Union (Actor) .. Kristen
Born: October 29, 1972
Birthplace: Omaha, Nebraska, United States
Trivia: Gabrielle Union had planned on attending law school, but began acting after the modeling agency she interned with as a college junior asked to represent her. She then won a series of small roles in television and film, including Love and Basketball, 10 Things I Hate About You (both 1999), and a part on the short-lived series City of Angels (2000). But her career really took off after her breakthrough portrayal of a sassy cheerleading captain from Compton in the late-summer surprise hit Bring It On (2000).It's ironic that cheerleading would be the activity that helped launch Union's star. The Omaha, NE, native was born October 29, 1973, and spent much of her youth playing sports, from soccer to basketball to track. She attended high school in Nebraska, where she was an all-star point guard, and, after graduating, moved to Los Angeles to attend school at U.C.L.A.After graduating with honors, Union chose to forego law school, stay in L.A., and concentrate on her acting career, which took off after her sparring with cheerleading rival Kirsten Dunst in Bring It On. After that film's release, Union won a substantial role in The Brothers and was slated to appear with an all-star cast in Welcome to Collinwood, as well as in Oscar-winner Stephen Gaghan's directorial debut Abandon. Her future film line up looking ever more impressive, Union took her biggest role to date as the acerbic titular character in the comedy Deliver Us from Eva, and continue to perform in films including Cradle 2 the Grave and Bad Boys II.In 2012, Union took on a supporting role in the comedy Think Like a Man, an adaptation of author and comedian Steve Harvey's self-help book of the same name.
La La Anthony (Actor) .. Sonia

Chris Brown (Actor) .. Alex
Born: May 05, 1989
Birthplace: Tappahannock, Virginia, United States
Trivia: Born in Tappahannock, VA, R&B vocalist Chris Brown shot from obscurity to instant celebrity in 2005, when the release of his blockbuster single "Run It!" (produced by Scott Storch) qualified the then 16-year-old as the first male solo recording artist to issue a track that went straight to the top of the Billboard singles chart. In no time at all, Brown landed a covetable recording contract with Jive records, and his first two albums, an eponymous 2005 release and the 2007 Exclusive, performed sensationally well. Like many of his R&B and hip-hop predecessors, Brown soon segued from music into filmed entertainment, first as the subject of the 2006 documentary Chris Brown's Journey, then with supporting dramatic roles in such productions as the dance-themed urban drama Stomp the Yard (2007) and the holiday-themed family drama This Christmas. Brown graduated to star billing with his turn in Phenom (2008), as a high-school basketball whiz-turned-professional player whose team must go head-to-head on the court with the team to which his NBA-playing father belongs.Brown courted infamy in 2009 when he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, singer Rhianna the day of the Grammy awards. Although he was subject of much deserved public ridicule for this event, he did appear in 2010's Takers, and was part of the ensemble cast in the hit comedy Think Like a Man in 2012.
Wendy Williams (Actor) .. Gail
Born: July 18, 1964
Birthplace: Asbury Park, New Jersey, United States
Trivia: A native of New Jersey, talk show maven Wendy Williams (not to be confused with the Plasmatics singer of the same name) grew up in a conservative, middle-class African American family. She made her name not on television but on East Coast radio, touting a brash, brazen form of celebrity-oriented gossip that hinged on by-the-throat comments, branded her as a "shock jock," and drew more than one legal threat from A-listers (in the most widely reported incident, Williams got into a lengthy brouhaha on the air with controversial diva Whitney Houston that quickly turned foul and nasty). Williams spent nearly two decades on the air in this format and shuffled back and forth between New York and Philadelphia-based stations, including Manhattan's Hot 97 and Philly's Power 99, then in 2003 made the leap to television with VH1's similarly themed celebrity gossip talk program Wendy Williams Is on Fire (2003). In 2008, a follow-up talk program debuted on Fox, the Los Angeles-based Wendy Williams Show. In addition to her television hosting duties, Williams has also written several books, including the New York Times best sellers Wendy's Got the Heat: The Queen of Radio Bares All and The Wendy Williams Experience: Queen of Radio, as well as the Ritz Harper series of novels.
Sherri Shepherd (Actor) .. Vicki
Born: April 22, 1970
Birthplace: Chicago, Illinois, United States
Trivia: African-American comedian Sherri Shepherd debuted on the small screen in the mid-'90s, with appearances on such popular series programs as Friends, Emeril, and Less Than Perfect -- typically as aggressive and outspoken, spunky women. Shepherd then broke through to national acclaim and recognition in the mid-2000s -- both cinematically, with prominent billing in the features Beauty Shop (2005) and Who's Your Caddy? (2007), and on television, as one of the hostesses on the popular daytime talk program The View. Shepherd grew up in the Chicago area. When her parents divorced at an early age, the mother took custody of Sherri and her three sisters and moved with them to California. An experience watching a comedian do a standup act inspired Shepherd to step behind the microphone. As an actress, she debuted on the sitcom Cleghorne!, then landed guest appearances on the aforementioned series. As an outspoken and committed, born-again Christian, Shepherd is extremely guarded about which roles she accepts and which scenes and dialogue she will perform onscreen, guidelines that distinguish her from many of her contemporaries but have reportedly not hindered her career or her popularity. She appeared in the Oscar-winning Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire, and joined the cast of the Madagascar animated franchise as Alex's mother. In 2011 she was cast in Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son, and in 2012 she played opposite Katherine Heigl in One for the Money.
Caleel Harris (Actor) .. Duke
Born: April 19, 2003
Birthplace: Los Angeles, California, United States
Trivia: Son of African American parents. At age 4, started acting after watching his brother on Grey's Anatomy.Landed a commercial for Imagination Movers on his first audition. Was home-schooled.Played the voice of Clyde in The Loud House for the first two seasons and was later replaced by Andre Robinson.
Arielle Kebbel (Actor) .. Gina
Born: February 19, 1985
Birthplace: Winter Park, Florida, United States
Trivia: The fair-haired, fresh-faced and photogenic Arielle Kebbel lived the dream of many an American teenage girl by traveling the direct, one-shot path from obscurity to an instantly flourishing career. Just after high school, this former victor of teen beauty pageants (and Hollywood hopeful) hit the road with her mom and undertook a cross-country journey in the family car from the Kebbels' hometown of Winter Park, FL, straight to Southern California. In no time at all (reportedly less than one week), Kebbel auditioned for a recurring guest role on the WB's series comedy drama Gilmore Girls -- and was hired immediately by series producers, thus realizing instantly her dreams of becoming a respected Tinseltown actress. In the popular Gilmore program, Kebbel portrayed Lindsay Lister, the woman who dates, then marries, then divorces small-town hunk Dean Forester (Jared Padalecki). The turn lasted from the midpoint of season three (2003) into the fall of 2004, concluding with the Foresters' estrangement. Kebbel then graduated from the small to the big screen with a series of turns in high-profile but (unfortunately) consistently schlocky and critically maligned Hollywood films. Kebbel traveled as one of the few white passengers on a "jive" purple airplane commandeered by Snoop Dogg in the neo-blaxploitation comedy Soul Plane (2004), then received second billing as one of the busty, "all-American" campers (and the child sweetheart of the lead) in 2005's direct-to-video sexploitationer American Pie Presents: Band Camp. Kebbel's profile would continue to raise throughout the 2000's, as she appeared in films like John Tucker Must Die, The Grudge 2, and on popular shows like The Vampire Diaries, and 90210.
Steve Harvey (Actor) .. Himself
Born: January 17, 1957
Birthplace: Welch, West Virginia, United States
Trivia: A longtime standup comic in addition to his work in television and radio, outspoken funnyman Steve Harvey has time and again proven his dedication to changing the public perception of African-American humor by means of his unique gift for humor. Though his universal truth-style and observant eye have gained Harvey a loyal following with his top-rated show on the WB, Harvey still vocally articulates his frustrations with the racial sliding scale of prime-time success. Harvey grew up in Cleveland and began his career as a standup comedian in the early '90s. With his popularity leading to a long-running stint on television's popular Showtime at the Apollo a few short years later, Harvey's small-screen career was soon on the rise and he next landed a leading role (as well as a People's Choice Award nomination for Favorite Male Performer in a New Television Series) in television's Me and the Boys in 1994. With his own series, The Steve Harvey Show, close on the horizon, the comic's influence was gaining even more momentum in addition to a wider audience. And though he would earn four NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for his show, Harvey was quick to point out that that doesn't necessarily entitle him to the perks of a role in a more Caucasian-oriented sitcom. One of four black comics featured in director Spike Lee's The Original Kings of Comedy (2000), Harvey was soon joined in prime time by fellow King Bernie Mac when Mac debuted his own namesake television series in early 2001. In addition to serving as host of KKBT-FM's The Beat, Harvey frequently takes part in speaking engagements in which he stresses the importance of goals and the dangers of drugs to impressionable youths.

Smoove culled greatest attention, however, for his recurring role during season six of Curb Your Enthusiasm; he played the über-confident, street-smart Leon Black, a member of an African-American family adopted by Larry David and his wife after their residence is decimated by a hurricane.
