Rose to popularity in 1992 when cast in the role of Estrellita Montenegro in the Venezuelan telenovela Cara sucia. Made her American movie debut in 2006 with a starring role in the black comedy Cyxork 7, also starring Ray Wise. Assumed the leading role of Luisa Dominguez in the soap opera Olvidarte jamás in 2006. Switched from playing heroines to portray the scheming Elena Torres on the 2007 Telemundo series Pecados ajenos. Met partner Ricardo Chávez on the set of Marido en aquiler in 2013.
