Devon Sawa (Actor) .. Alex Browning
Born: September 07, 1978
Birthplace: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Trivia: Blonde, blue-eyed, and bearing the kind of glossy looks that lend themselves equally to teen idoldom and Noxema spokesmanship, Devon Sawa was one of the young actors to coast into the pop culture consciousness on the late-1990s wave of Hollywood teensploitation. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on September 7, 1978, Sawa developed an interest in acting when he appeared in a few kindergarten plays. Following work in local theatrical productions, the young actor secured an agent and began making appearances on various Canadian TV shows. Tiring of television, he broke into film with the 1994 kids' comedy Little Giants, in which he played the quarterback of a misfit football team.A small but apparently very memorable role as the human incarnation of the titular ghost in Casper (1995) made Sawa immensely popular with any number of teenage girls; his popularity received an additional boost that same year, thanks to his role as the neighborhood bully who locks lips with Christina Ricci in Now and Then (the two had previously shared a screen kiss in Casper). More work followed, with Sawa starring in such straight-to-video releases as The Boys Club (1996) and Wild America (1997). Sawa got his first real chance to carry a mainstream movie with the 1999 Idle Hands. A teen horror-comedy that took advantage of the genre craze originally inspired by the Scream series, it starred Sawa as a young man whose right hand gets possessed by a homicidal demon. Unfortunately, the film was released shortly before the Columbine High School tragedy; surprisingly enough, audiences, sickened by the recent spate of real-life teen violence, stayed away in droves. The following year, Sawa was given another crack at film stardom with Final Destination, a psychological thriller that featured the young actor as a high school student who discovers that cheating death is a very tricky matter indeed.Sawa kept a relatively low profile for the next couple of years, appearing in smaller films like Extreme Ops (2002) and Devil's Den (2006) before landing on the CW action series Nikita. What started as a guest role in season 1 was expanded to a recurring gig in season 2, before being promoted to a series regular for season 3.
Ali Larter (Actor) .. Clear Rivers
Born: February 28, 1976
Birthplace: Cherry Hill, New Jersey, United States
Trivia: Once she decided to become an actress, Ali Larter (born February 28th, 1976) swiftly became caught up in the late '90s surge of teen-oriented entertainment. A native of Cherry Hill, NJ, Larter began modeling at age 13. After seven years as a cover girl and a globe-trotting Ford model, she opted to move to Los Angeles to set her sights on acting, and soon landed guest star roles on several TV series, including a two-episode stint on the WB's hit teen drama Dawson's Creek in 1998. Quickly making the jump to movies, Larter co-starred in the high school gridiron hit Varsity Blues (1999) as an alluring, ambitious cheerleader with eyes for Dawson's Creek heartthrob James Van der Beek's quarterback. Though her next two movies, Drive Me Crazy (1999) and The House on Haunted Hill (1999), were not as successful, Larter's status as an up-and-coming young movie actress was enhanced by the sleeper success of teen horror film Final Destination (2000), in which she sported a brunette hair color to suit her artist character's gothic leanings. The following summer, Larter could be seen -- this time playing characters closer to her own age -- in two more high-profile releases for the PG-13 set: first as Reese Witherspoon's possibly-homicidal sorority sister in the comedy Legally Blonde (2001); and later, as the main squeeze of Colin Farrell, one of the titular train robbers in American Outlaws . The next several years brought much more of the same for Larter, as she signed for supporting roles in mostly buttered popcorn pictures and Hollywood programmers - such as the supernatural thriller follow-up Final Destination 2 (2003) and the Ashton Kutcher/Amanda Peet romantic comedy A Lot Like Love (2006) - but her career took an interesting twist in 2006. That year, Larter switched venues, signing for her first major television role: that of Niki Sanders, a single mom suddenly dumbstruck by the discovery of her violent, uber-strong alter ego, on the superhero-themed serial drama Heroes. In 2007, Larter tackled two major roles, very different from one another: that of Marigold Lexton, a young actress who stumbles into the cast of a Bollywood musical, in the quirky comedy-drama Marigold, and that of Alice, a resilient fighter who helps save the world from a zombifying virus, in the effects-heavy video game adaptation Resident Evil: Extinction. Larter played a dangerous femme fatle in Obsessed (2009), and starred in Resident Evil: Afterlife in 2010. In 2014, Larter returned to television in the TNT crime drama Legends.
Kerr Smith (Actor) .. Carter Horton
Born: March 09, 1972
Birthplace: Exton, Pennsylvania, United States
Trivia: An outgoing actor with a penchant for mischief and a strong spontaneous streak, Kerr Smith became a recognizable household face after appearing in a series of popular Gateway Computer commercials and taking on the role of a teen struggling with his sexuality on the popular teen television drama Dawson's Creek. And though he may have been inclined to jump off a cliff or streak unexpectedly in his wild high school days, Smith generally has taken the low-key route since his rise to fame, opting to spend intimate times with close friends over the temptations of hot-property Hollywood nightlife. Born and raised in the Philadelphia suburb of Exton, Smith made his stage debut as Sir Edward Ramsey in a high school production of The King and I. Serving as class president three of four years of his high school career before enrolling in the University of Vermont, the extroverted student spent much of his free time pursuing such sports as baseball and snow skiing. After earning a B.S. in business administration and returning to Exton to start a marketing firm with his father, Smith realized that although he hated the selling aspect of business, he loved the presentations involved. Soon realizing his passion for acting, Smith informed his father that he was selling his truck and using the money to move to New York and pursue an acting career. Winning an Emmy for his performance on the popular television soap opera As the Day Turns was a shot in the arm for the fledgling actor's confidence, and his appearance in the aforementioned Gateway ads in addition to a popular series of Carl's Jr. found his recognition-factor growing. Though he had hesitated to make the move to the West Coast, his desire to pursue a career in prime-time television overcame his fears of being lost in a sea of bartending-aspiring actors and Smith was soon packing his bags for the move to Los Angeles. It wasn't long before the actor hit it off with one of the producers of Dawson's Creek, and Smith was soon cast as Jack McPhee on the WB hit. As a teen faced with accepting his homosexuality, Smith's performance in the series stood out among his many talented co-stars, and it wasn't long before a career in features began to blossom. Following on the heels of such low-budget efforts as Hit and Runway (1999) and The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy (2000), Smith boarded a doomed flight in Final Destination (also 2000) and battled desert vampires in the following year's The Forsaken.
Kristen Cloke (Actor) .. Valerie Lewton
Born: September 02, 1968
Birthplace: Van Nuys, California
Daniel Roebuck (Actor) .. Agent Weine
Born: March 04, 1963
Birthplace: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States
Trivia: Lead actor, onscreen from 1985.
Roger Guenveur Smith (Actor) .. Agent Schreck
Born: July 27, 1955
Birthplace: Berkeley, California, United States
Trivia: An esteemed African-American playwright and actor whose roles almost invariably contend with the politics and dynamics of race (frequent collaborator Spike Lee once famously described him as a "racial cheerleader"), thespian Roger Guenveur Smith grew up in Berkeley and debuted onscreen in the late '80s. Over the ensuing years, Smith cultivated and sustained a reputation for tackling demanding, challenging, and thought-provoking assignments with immense aplomb. He achieved much of his success thanks to repeated collaborations with Lee, who cast him as Yoda in the musical School Daze (1988) and Smiley, the hipster street philosopher in Do the Right Thing (1989); in fact, Lee later noted that Smith was the one who devised the idea for the juxtaposed photographs of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X in one of Thing's pivotal scenes. Meanwhile, Smith remained extremely active in regional theater, both by authoring his own efforts (such as a musical about Christopher Columbus that painted commonly accepted versions of the man's life story as historical revisionism) and by teaching drama to juvenile delinquents. As the years passed, Smith's onscreen activity crescendoed; he signed for plum roles in such contemporary classics as King of New York (1990), Deep Cover (1992), and Eve's Bayou (1997), and, significantly, extended his professional relationship with Lee to many additional projects. The celebrated director cast Smith in such features as Malcolm X (1992), Get on the Bus (1996), He Got Game (1998), and Summer of Sam (1999), all of which received considerable acclaim. Their actor-director working relationship culminated in the little-seen (but arguably brilliant) A Huey P. Newton Story (2001) -- a Lee-directed film of Smith's one-man stage show on the life of controversial Black Panther leader Huey P. Newton. The film preserves the original Smith-authored play, and stars the thespian as Newton; Lee augments the film with visual pyrotechnics and interpolates archival footage to give the feature depth and dimension. Unfortunately, the project failed to receive even a limited theatrical release, and premiered instead on the Black Starz cable network. Thereafter, Smith continued his theatrical work (albeit very infrequently) with such plays as the 2003 Iceland, a psychological drama about four unrelated characters that debuted in Philadelphia. He also continued his frequent film roles, with assignments including Shade (2003), God's Waiting List (2006), Confessions of a Call Girl (2006), and Ridley Scott's American Gangster (2007).
Seann William Scott (Actor) .. Billy Hitchcock
Born: October 03, 1976
Birthplace: Cottage Grove, Minnesota, United States
Trivia: Known in the halls of history as the smirking Stifler from the 1999 teen sex comedy American Pie, Seann William Scott found his niche in show business due in no small part to that very iconic, wisecracking character. Born on October 3rd, 1976 in Cottage Grove, MN, Scott finished high school early and moved to L.A., where he soon caught a break with a prominent role in the music video for "A Hole in My Soul" by Aerosmith. Within a couple of years of moving to the West Coast, Scott had an impressive list of appearances on his resumé -- though it would be the role of Stifler that would cement his place in Hollywood. He reprised the character for American Pie's two sequels in 2001 and 2003, but in the meantime, Scott found no shortage of work in movies geared toward a similar audience, starring in 2000s Road Trip and Dude, Where's My Car? He even appeared alongside martial arts legend Chow Yun-Fat in the tongue-in-cheek tribute to the kung-fu genre with 2003's Bulletproof Monk, and played the beloved character of Bo Duke in the feature film adaptation of The Dukes of Hazzard in 2005. The comedian also proved that his keen comic timing didn't always depend on the smarmy jackass characters that served as his bread-and-butter, playing a touchy-feely self-help book author (and former miserable nerd) in 2007's Mr. Woodcock. But Scott was never reluctant to do what he does best, and in 2008 he found a new, endearingly crude fast talker to play, starring alongside Paul Rudd in the super-sarcastic comedy Role Models. After taking several voice roles in the late 2000s, Scott joined the original cast of American Pie for 2012's American Reunion.
Tony Todd (Actor) .. Bludworth
Born: December 04, 1954
Birthplace: Washington D.C., United States
Trivia: Known to many as the Candyman, character actor Tony Todd is known for his extreme height (6'5") and deep voice. The Washington D.C. native cut his teeth with numerous TV appearances throughout the 80's, and went on to appear in movies like Platoon, The Rock, and of course, Candyman. He would also enjoy major arcs on shows like 24 and Chuck.
Amanda Detmer (Actor) .. Terry Chaney
Born: September 27, 1971
Birthplace: Contra Costa County, California, United States
Trivia: The adorably spunky Amanda Detmer had everyone going when she took on teen roles, bright-eyed and genuine, in films like Boys and Girls and Final Destination. Indeed, the actress in real life was substantially older than the young women she portrayed onscreen, although her convincingly youthful performances aided her looks in deceiving viewers about her age. Born on September 27, 1971, in Chico, CA, Detmer's academic career was established long before her successful list of film credits. After attending California State University as an undergraduate, she earned her master's degree at N.Y.U. in fine arts. While her acting debut occurred with the television movie Stolen Innocence in 1995, she decided to complete her M.F.A. before seriously embarking on a career in show business. In 1999, she re-entered the dramatic scene with a role in the TV miniseries To Serve and Protect. She also gained exposure and television experience on the series MYOB and Ryan Caulfield: Year One. Finding an asset in her youthfulness, she then appeared in two teen films, despite being in her late twenties, in 2000: Boys and Girls -- a romantic comedy starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Claire Forlani, and Jason Biggs -- and the thriller Final Destination. Upon gaining attention in Hollywood, she was often found in warm and lighthearted roles, if not in outright comedy, as appropriate for the sweet charm her presence evokes onscreen. She starred as a would-be nun, longed for by the character played by Jason Biggs in Saving Silverman (2001), also featuring Jack Black. In The Majestic (also 2001), she portrays the woman Jim Carrey leaves behind when stricken with amnesia. In addition to smaller roles in 2002's Kiss the Bride and Big Fat Liar, she would star in a comedy by Lorena David entitled Extreme Dating. An action-packed romantic adventure, the film also starred Devon Sawa. Though Extreme Dating may have thrown a little something original in the romantic comedy mix by offering a little more gunplay and adrenaline than the typical chick flick, few of Detmer's efforts in the following years would prove adventurous or original enough to really break the mold or merit mentioning. A key role on the small-screen relationship drama What About Brian offered the actress a bit more to chew on in 2006, and later that same year Detmer could be seen in the Owen Wilson houseguest-from-Hell comedy You, Me, and Dupree. Over the coming years, Detmer would appear in a number of other projects, including the series What About Brian, Private Practice, Man Up, and Necessary Roughness.
Brendan Fehr (Actor) .. George Waggner
Born: October 29, 1977
Birthplace: New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
Trivia: Bearing an eerie resemblance to a slightly more stalwart David Duchovney, former model-turned-actor Brendan Fehr has etched out a lucrative film career as a teenage tough guy in such popular high school horror-fests as Disturbing Behavior (1998), Final Destination (2000), and The Forsaken (2001). Also appearing on such small-screen efforts as Millennium and Roswell, Fehr has proven himself able to successfully alternate between television and film while doing his best to avoid being pigeonholed as a teen horror brat packer for the new millennium. Born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Fehr showed an interest in sports early on, and nearly went into a career as an accountant due to his love of mathematics. Relocating to Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1990, Fehr began to consider a career as a teacher while simultaneously finding work as a model. After approaching an agent while visiting his family in Vancouver in 1997, the handsome young model was convinced that his looks would shine through on camera and soon made his film debut on UPN's Breaker High. Moving on to numerous roles for the Fox Family network and appearing on such television hits as Millennium found Fehr an increasing sought-after up and comer, and it was only a matter of time before he made his film debut in the sci-fi horror hit Disturbing Behavior. Numerous supporting roles followed, and in addition to his work in teen fright flicks, Fehr also appeared in such seldom-seen films as Kill Me Later (2001). Fehr was increasingly busy in the early years of the new millennium, with such films as Long Shot and Paper, Scissors, Stone hinting at a bright future for the developing actor.
