Biography
About Aasif Sheikh
Aspired to be a springboard diver or a cricketer in childhood, but an injury got him inclined to theatre. Used to clean floors and sell tea during his early struggling days. Started off his acting career with a role in India's first TV show Hum Log (1984-85) that aired on national television channel Doordarshan.
Has been Salman Khan's family friend since 1990s. Was recommended by Shilpa Shinde for the reality show Bigg Boss 11 (an adaptation of UK's Big Brother), but he refused to participate. Worked with Bollywood actor Salman Khan in Bharat (2019) after a hiatus of 12 years.
