About Alexander Petrov
Was a talented football player in his childhood and was invited to train in Moscow at age 15, but after a serious injury including a severe concussion, doctors prohibited sports.
Initially studied economics in school before deciding it wasn't for him.
Discovered acting in college after participating in the student team of the Russian Humor TV show KVN.
Under the leadership of Oleg Menshikov, was admitted to the Yermolova Theatre troupe in 2013 and played the titular Hamlet in Shakespeare's tragedy.
Was named the most popular Russian actor of 2017 by Russian film news and database website KinoPoisk.
