Previously served as writer on Canadian television series This Hour Has 22 Minutes, That's So Weird!, and Dan for Mayor, as well as story editor on Corner Gas.
Portrait was among those featured at the 2017 10x10 Photography Exhibition at The Gladstone Hotel.
Is a member of the experimental rock band Mintz, along with Christina Zeidler, Celina Carroll and Sarena Sarian.
Has received two Canadian Screen Awards for Best Show and Best Writing for her work on the comedy series Baroness von Sketch Show.
