Biography
About Gloria Diaz
She was born into a family of twelve children. Was only 18 when she won the Binibining Pilipinas, the Philippines national beauty pageant.. Was the first Filipino to be crowned Miss Universe in 1969.
Made her film debut in Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Balat ng Lupa. Won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Metro Manila Festival in 1998 for her role in the movie Jose Rizal. Won 2006 FAMAS Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Nasaan Ka Man.
