Grew up in a housing project outside of Paris, France. Started his career doing skits on a local radio station with comedic partner Fred Testot. Nominated for Best Kiss and Best Supporting Actor at the NRJ Cine Awards and Raimu de la Comedie awards respectively in 2006.
Released the song Bleu, Blanc, Rouge with Fred Testot in 2010. Became the first black actor to win the Cesar Award for Best Actor, 2012.
