Biography
About Pallavi Joshi
Had started acting at age five. Played the role of a blind child who reforms a notorious gangster in her debut film Dada (1979). Wrote, produced and acted in the series Aarohan, inspired by her real-life rendezvous with the first batch of women who passed out of the Indian Naval Academy.
Married filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri on 28th June 1997 after a courtship of three years. Refused to become a member of Film and Television Institute of India society in view of the students' protesting against the appointment of actor and politician Gajendra Chauhan as its chief. Became an executive member of the CINTAA (Cine and Television Artists' Association) that takes care of safety issues at shoots.
Hosted the television reality singing competitions Antakshari and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi L'il Champs. Achieved immense popularity by her viral video series, titled 'Easy Hai' which has taken on terms like GST, surgical strikes and black money.
