About Sascha Radetsky

As a child he appeared in various commercials for Teddy Grahams, Kenner Toys, Hallmark Cards and Crest toothpaste. Studied ballet in Moscow with the Bolshoi Academy at age 15. Attended prestigious ballet schools such as the Kirov Academy in Washington, D.C., the School of American Ballet, the San Francisco Ballet School and the American Ballet Theatre with Mikhail Baryshnikov.
Joined the American Ballet Theatre in 1996, became a soloist in 2003 and retired in 2014. Danced with the Dutch National Ballet as a principal dancer in 2008. Choreographed for the Department of Theatre and Dance at Bucknell University in 2012.
Wrote various articles about the different aspects of being a dancer for Vogue.com, Newsweek and Dance Magazine. Became a fall fellow in 2015 at New York University's Center for Ballet and the Arts.
