Grew up in Britain's West Midlands; worked as a model and waitress before turning to acting. Was discovered by agents while performing in Shakespeare's Measure for Measure at Scotland's Edinburgh Festival after college. Received a 2002 British Soap Award nomination (Sexiest Female) for her role in the soap opera Crossroads.
Moved to Los Angeles to study acting and quickly landed a leading role in the 2008 independent romantic comedy Kissing Cousins. Hobbies include chess, horseback riding, surfing and snowboarding.
