Greg's father drove his wife into Wales specifically for his son to be born in his home country. Before he moved into comedy, worked as a Drama and English teacher for thirteen years at a number of schools. His first solo stand up show, Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog, was nominated for the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Awards at the Edinburgh Festival in 2010.
