Biography
About Farida Jalal
Won a talent contest, the United Film Producers Talent Hunt, which paved her way to an acting career. Made her big screen debut in Taqdeer (1967). Met her husband Tabrez Barmavar on the set of Jeevan Rekha (1974).
Took an 8-year hiatus after marriage and returned to the acting world with the movie Henna (1991). Converted to Christianity in 2015, taking up a new middle name Farida Josephine Jalal.
