Biography
About Shaun Micallef
Is of Irish and Maltese descent. Participated in comedy revues and wrote comedy sketches while attending university. Practised insurance law for 10 years before switching to comedy in 1993.
Became a regular on the TV comedy show Full Frontal in 1994. Created and starred in his own sketch-comedy show, The Micalef P(r)ogram(me), which premiered in 1998. Wrote the books Smithereens in 2004 and Preincarnate in 2010.
Co-hosted the Vega breakfast radio show in Melbourne from 2005 to '07. Starred alongside Stephen Curry in Good Evening: The Sketches of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore at the Melbourne International 2010 Comedy Festival.
