About Holly Aird

Became passionate about ballet at a young age. Grew up in a cottage in Sussex with a garden that backed onto Ashdown Forest. Managed the transition from child to adult actress successfully.
Best known for her role as forensic pathologist, Frankie Wharton, in the BBC series Waking the Dead (2000-04), which she left at the end of the fourth series to devote more time to her children. Has provided voiceover for natural history programmes such as Wild Majorca and for advertisements.
